  • whats the song called at 5:14

  • I love this footage! I thought this was a performance at The Forum in 1970. But, love to see J5 at their prime during their Jackson5mania! Love the album, 'Live At The Forum' and it was just pure amazement!

  • WOW: This is Brilliant, I haven't heard this in years, this is definitely a rare find, thank you so much for sharing....Well Done

  • I would love to sit with them and listen to them tell stories about being on stage and on the road.

  • Marlon and Mike were too cool at this stage in their lives. They were two pints size dancing machines.

  • Michael's like: Marlon! Stop fooling around!

    Marlon: No!

    A minute later......

    Michael: I need someone's help.

Jackie: Hey fellas! Do you want to help Michael out?

    Marlon: No!

Marlon is a funny person to hang out with, right? :D

  • This you see on the cartoon yup check Marlon out they inserted part of this into their cartoons.

  • This is brilliant! I have the Live at the Forum album and have been dying to see some footage from the concert. God, Michael was amazing. A born showman. Still missing him every single day.

  • the magic of the JACKSON 5!!!

  • aww....he is so cute...I just love him!

  • sly and the family stone originally, janet;s rythm nation sampled it.

  • omg J5 mania..what year is this from 69 or early 1970? a little before my time..I wish I could have seen that..

  • @rachel7036 it's somewhere in june 1970!

  • @rachel7036 This may have been in 1970. I saw them back then. They were at the San Francisco Cow Palace, and I believe they appeared at the L.A Forum the very next day. My older sister, friends, and I kept up with their tour schedule. During the summer we would call our local radio station KDIA, to find out when they were coming to town, so that we could get the best seats. You are right. JACKSON MANIA!!

  • @nutothis1 thank you, I missed all of the jackson5 era...was born in 1970...you're lucky to have seen them back then!!!

  • I love this video

  • this is a great video jackie and marlon was gettin down and jackie wit his sexy self

  • jackie comes after marlon all fatherly...lol

  • "Now we got a ham!" 3:42

    Too funny...

  • WHERE IS THE DVD FOR THIS CONCERT, MOTOWN!!!!! PLEASE!!!!!

  • @hnsgirl Likewise...Its about time they released an official DVD or something!!

  • we know MJ was beyond his years and talent in rare air that few artist have breathed, but we are hard pressed to see talent coming out now that's even half as talented as his brotha's, heck Jermaine has the voice of an angel without studio help too, the jacksons got the lott of talent poured on their entire family with a cherry & crown on top called Michael Jackson,

  • WHAT HAPPENED TO TRUE TALENT LIKE THIS GUYS...THEY SURE KNEW HOW TO TAKE CONTROL OF EVERYTHING...THANK YOU MRS. KATHERINE FOR BRINGING THIS GUYS TO EARTH...TRUE FANS OF MJ WILL SEE HIM AGAIN IN HEAVEN......

  • He was so country and adorable!!

  • Fantastic video!!! Thanx so much for posting!!

Thanx 8mycrab (Susie) for sharing :-))

  • Incredible talent at such a young age; it doesn't stop to amaze me. I guess this was a real show, because you can hear the audience sheer (as they should!!).

@8mycrab thank you for sending me beautiful memories.

  • You forget that he was only like 12 yrs old... Such an ole soul in a little body... Mike is a yr. younger then me and when I see footage of the J5 like this it brings back memories... I would beg my mom to buy me a tiger beat or 16 mag. so I could have a new picture of Mike to stick up on my wall lol... Dang, I miss him... :(

  • Awwww, I love seeing seeing the old video's, he was SO cute. Thank you for posting this.

  • "Now we have our ham Marlon"

Yes, he was, and he turned into a sexy ham, watch the Victory tour ;-)

God they were sooo tight with their harmonies in that last song, just heavenly.

I so happy someone had a camera that night and got this on film.

I wonder if there is a professional live recording somewhere?

    Wouldn't that be FANTASTIC!

    Susie

  • @8mycrab Susie thank you for sharing!

  • Look at that little Master of Ceremonies! He just RAN THE SHOW from the time he was a little tike. No wonder he said he felt like he was a veteran (retiring age) before he was 25. He was brilliant but such a sacrifice, bless him.

  • @8mycrab A precious showman.....this is priceless (as you now)...

    Thx Susie...

  • "Marlon!! go back marlon!!! go back!!...get him, get him!!" LOL

  • All of them were awesome but no doubt that Michael had something very special that you couldn't take your eyes off him. You just don't want to miss a second of everything he does. He really had the spotlight and a halo over his head. Proof was what you saw years later. Look where it got him and what became of him. He turned out to be the most famous person in the world and became a true KING!!!! Long live the KING for eternity.....

  • AWESOME !!!!!!!!! No words man MAD TALENT RIGHT THERE :)

  • Thank you for this!! I just finished listening to the live concert on the radio!! It was great!!

  • as I watch this vid and it brings tears to my eyes, I think if it ever crossed little Michael's mind that he was going to be someone bigger than the world put together. Besides being a true talent and genius, I see him more as a miracle, something out of this world that we probably will never see again not unless the world starts all over again. Demons sent him to heaven but he will always be in our hearts and no one will ever take him from there.

  • @mrsqueenjackson u made me cry... :'(

  • @AlovesMJ I'm sorry, that was not my intention but I still cry almost everyday just seeing on these videos. I am another crazy fan that just adores him. We miss him so,so much but lets be thankful that he is so happy with his bestfriend Jesus and so much alive in our hearts.

  • "Is he a fool, is he a fool? Get him!" - So darn adorable!!! That sweet little boy needed to be able to act like a kid as an adult because as a boy he was already a little man. Isn't that just so clear? Michael, thank you for all the magic you've given us

  • I looooove this, this needs to be released!! Michael is amazing, and sooo funny... he really knows how to work a crown..."Now we got a ham, ha. Ok are you ready for Marlon!" Michael is soooo cute

  • @JDCVideo

This will soon be realeased on the brand new cd 'Jackson 5 live at the forum'!!!

  • Was Ronnie and Johnny their real cousin? It is hard to believe that Marlon couldn't keep up with the dance steps seeing him now.

  • @Unique9773

No, they weren't. Motown made them say they were...

  • @Unique9773 No. Ronnie and Johnny were not their cousins. Joe, I guess thought it would be good to present them like that as a part of the act. They were just as much a part of the group. I wish they were played up more, since they were there from the beginning.

  • so this is how this song got started...

    go michael!

    go marlon!

    go jermaine!

    go tito!

    go jackie!

  • i think marlon was trying to compete with mike a little to michael told him to go back! and marlon just kept doing his thing.

  • @strawberryiesable ...it was all in fun...it is all a part of the show. Those brothers loved each other and never had that problem when they were together in the early years..that's why their perdormances were so tight...

  • Amazing, oh how I miss being a kid and watching them.

Hearing Thank You again was medicine, but still made me tear up. Thanks to whoever found this tape and posted it up. it has to be 38 or so years old.

  • go MARLON

  • michael was one COOL kid :) i wish this was in better quality

  • Oh that accent. "wit my cuhzin" He was so cute!

Oh and when he said "you aint nothin" I so thought of when he said it in the Bad video.

Hearing "We Thank You" live got to me though.

  • I thought of the bad video too

    >>check out my other video "just for fun!", I used it in there

  • Tito was jammin!!! And all the girls were screaming for Jackie.

  • I have ALWAYS wanted to hear them do the "Thank You' song live!!!! I only heard it on the Jackson's Mini Series!!! Loved it!!! 5:13 to 6:10 might just be the best moment in my memories of the Jacksons!!!

  • that was great!

    was jackie playing around at

4:20? lol he looked like he messed up

    marlon's jam lol.

i like the thank you part too

  • LOL! this great! But Michael isnt sayn "Marlon Get it"....he's pointing to Jackie and saying "Get him man...get him!!!" LOL!

  • this is too cute i love it!

  • This is some great stuff...HOW ADORABLE....Very lucky to have seen this. Thank you lots!

  • LOL I LOVE IT!!!!! its cute!

  • Daayuum. I sure hope that look at 3:20 is scripted! LMAO XD

  • Marlon was gettin it man!! I looooove the way Michael said, "Now we got, my brother Jackie Jackson" at 3:09. His whole attitude and swagger when he said that had me lmao. Also when we was like, "Marlon get it, get it, get it man!" at 4:14. They were all so talented and cute.

  • Yeah, those parts are so cool!

When he screams at Jackie: "He's supposed to be so cool man, you ain't nothing" LOL, that always makes me laugh

    And Marlon is amazing here!

  • Yeah that makes laugh really hard too. And that look Jackie gave him after he said that LOL!!!

Yes, Marlon was doing his thang! One of his best moments.

  • this is wonderful thanks for posting....michael definitely knew how to work the crowd...lol

  • from what concert is this footage?

  • I think this was 1970 in philidelphia or florida, I'm not sure where it was ...

  • oh, they rule so haaaard!

  • lol it shows in the Jacksons American Dreams movie and Michael even said so himself in an interview that Marlon had a tough time learning how to do the dance moves when the group first formed! I'm so happy Marlon ROCKED it! lmao! I heart you J5 xoxo!

  • Yeah, Marlon had a hard time but he was doin' his thang out there!

  • Praise to who uploaded this beautifull piece.

  • Lol.JACKIE WAS GETTIN' IT!!! HE WAS STICKIN' IT TO THE LEFT & STICKIN' IT TO THE RIGHT Lmao. And the look he gave micheal when he said he wasn't nothin'....woah.

  • What you mean, you hate to say it, Marlon is the second best dancer of the Jackson 5, probably was the best but Barry Gordy gave the lead singer all the best dance moves and plus he deserved to steal the show on this song because Michael always get the attention! Thats why Michael, was showing off all his brothers skills!

  • I hate to say it, but Marlon stole the show in this clip!

  • Yeah, marlo's great! he looks awesome with the hat, and he's a great dancer!

  • noo DRprezident i hate to say it but marlon stole show if he stole just say it we all michael is the best of the group but if marlon did better just say it

  • So small and yet such confidence and control of the entire group on stage. Lil Mike working the crowd like a 50-year professional.

  • amazing. thx 4 uploading this

  • no problem!

  • LOL, oh Marlon.

  • he's a cutie, isn't he?!

  • "you sposed to be so cool.. man, you aint nuthin!!"

  • this was funny lol

  • poor mike

  • So sweet! Love their interaction as brothers. So natural and real and funny. Marlon and Michael are adorable here.

  • Oh man oh man! I love how he introduce Tito! Toriano!!! That's his real one, I know, but I wonder why he didn't introduce Jackie as Sigmund or Esco. LOL
