But movies are still non canon to the manga anyway... plus dodoria was stronger than king vegeta as well...and you need to remember that bardock kept getting stronger during the movie because he kept fighting like no other while king vegeta was sitting...its so obvious in the end of the movie...

acctualy king vegeta is stated as the most powerfull saiyan before planet vegeta is destroyed ..and how did u get the idea he just sits around he acctualy staged a revolt against frieza in the anime ....the fact is that bardock was still pretty weak back then ...he just wanted to fight as an effort to change the future ..he didnt know frieza was that strong ..the reason frieza is afraid of saiyans is not their individual strenght .. but in time they grow stronger and stronger ..he stopped that

lol frieza was afraid of what bardock MIGHT become ....dodoria owned bardock and left him full of blood with just 1 mouthblast ....and dodoria is around 30000 max in the namek saga ..thats 20 years later ....in the bardock movie they say vegeta is ALMOST as strong as king vegeta ..and he is the strongest saiyan alive in that time .. just watch the movie and read the manga ul see what im sayng is facts not just speculation ...vegeta was stronger than nappa in the movie and nappa is a elite ..

I own all manga and finished watching dbz in the 90s in its original form before it was even finished by Funi.reason I say this is because this movie does not even relate to the manga whatsoever like you say, even my point of bardock being the strongest is speculation, but then again so is vegeta being stronger at that point in time. on another note Akira stated himself that bardock is stronger than king vegeta at the point of which frieza destroys the planet, which should end our arguement.

when vegeta was young he couldnt beat bardock or king vegeta..he was near king vegeta's power but bardock was the strongest during his time.and also nappa wasnt that strong his power wasnt even at least 8000 but that was on earth...during this time vegeta wasnt stronger than nappa yet.but when he went to earth he had 12000 and when bardock died he had 10000.

Na, there are no official power levels for these movies but Akira stated that bardock was the strongest saiyan when the planet was destroyed...hence the reason frieza singled him in and ordered his elite to kill him...remember bardock's strenght was increasing after every battle in this movie...of course vegeta did get stronger as he grew older...

King Vegeta was at 11,000

Kid Vegeta was at 12,000

Strongest saiyan at the time when it was destroyed was kid vegeta at 12,000 then king vegeta

And Frieza first form = 530,000

@DVJFan, the thing about Bardock is true, Akira Toriyama slated this......he said that Bardock was the most powerful Saiyan because he fought many times, and his power level was increased.......but he was a Low-Class Saiyan, and to Low-Class Saiyans, is harder to increase his powers (something related to genes, in my opinion)........when Vegeta growed up and trained, logically, he surpassed Bardock.......but no one coud defeat Frieza.......except if Bardock told all, and they would unite forces
