Since his contributions to the war were so minimal, the only reason America had a role in shaping the treaty was because of their money and ammuntion supplying. Wilson tried, and failed, to make a soft treaty. The main writer of the treaty was George Clemenceu, with David Lloyd George 2nd and Wilson very much third.

I am reading "The Lies My Teacher Told Me". The first chapter contributes lots of efforts talking about his tampering with South Americas politics, unknown wars in Russia and a highly racists administration which lead up the KKK having more strength due to his influence on politics.
