  • Can you please do some tutorials using these colors? Thank you so much.

  • I don't like these shades. They seem far too flashy for going to the parent's association meeting and daytime activities. However, the video is nice. Thank you/

  • @mrsotter19 I'm glad you liked the video and yes I agree these e/s are not meant for parent's meeting/daytime activities. I'll see if I can make a vid on e/s for daily wear/subtle looks. Thanks for watching!!

  • @chibu74 Hey, thank you for replying. I look forward to the subtle look video (if you do it). Will subscribe. :-)

  • @mrsotter19 Thanks for subscribing :)

  • ok so am 15 and am still have trouble on how to pick out the right eyeshadow can u help me out? or any advice

  • @Bmw33newmoon hi there, can you tell me what skin tone are you and what is the color of your eyes?

  • @chibu74 my skin is olive/ a little tanish and i know this vid is about that i really cant conperhend srry. thanx for ur help and my eyes are really really dark brown almost black :)

  • @Bmw33newmoon hi there, for dark brown eyes pinks, purples and bronze shades look best. I would definitely suggest MAC Amber lights and Antiques, Star violet and satellite dreams. If you want to go for drugstore e/s, I highly recommend Wet n Wild 6 e/s palettes. all the palettes are super gorgeous. the one I recommend the most is Vanity, it has browns and gold in it. Another good one is Lust. Are you looking for something more subtle that you could wear to school?

  • @chibu74 thanx that helped a lot and yes:)

  • @Bmw33newmoon you are very welcome. let me see what can i recommend to you for school days :)

  • i'm medium toned but unlike most people, i don't like my highlight shade being lighter than my skin... (although that's what highlighters are for lol)

lighter shades like Brule or Ricepaper don't look harsh on me or anything, but it's just preference. do you think Arena would work as a highlight for like NC30? i'm looking for something that will just melt into my skin leaving just a tiniest amount of shimmer.

  • @kimchichick Hi there, thanks for your comment. Yes, Arena is best if you are looking for slight shimmer for highlighting. I've seen it works for most skin tones. I swatched it on my palm which is obviously much lighter than my face and it looked great. All this e/s leaves is slight sheen and no color. Let me know when you try it. Would love to know if it worked for you. I tried brule or ricepaper in the store but it looked so wierd.

  • @chibu74 ooooooh!! i'm so excited i may have found The One!!! they don't have Arena where I live, so hopefully i'll get a chance to grab one when i'm overseas... is Arena slightly lighter and less peachy/pink than All That Glitters?? (i've been using that over Brule to tone it down cuz it's a little too dark for me)

  • @kimchichick Arena is a flesh tone color (beige). Does not really compare to All that glitters. Also, All that glitters is shimmery but Arena has a nice sheen. its very subtle. Hope that helps

  • beautiful song and video. Thanks for the vid, I subscribed;)

  • Great info! Glad I found you. In the process of putting together my 1st Mac pallette (15). Great job!

  • @5kimba awww, thank you so much. I'm glad you found this vid helpful. One of my faves these days is MAC's expensive pink e/s, Try that out, its a gorg shade too. Also, I'm planning on buying sushi flower and satin taupe

  • good vid..but i would like to see your technique and method of application....plus how do u determine what shade/skin u are?i've seen people mention that they are either NC 42 or NC 43..how would I be able to determine that?

  • @ishadesai7 Thanks Isha. I really wish I could make some tutorials but unfortunately I don't own a good camcorder/camera. But there are lots of girls on youtube that show the techniques.

When people mention NC 42, NC43, etc., they are basically talking about their MAC foundation tone/color they use. You can go to a MAC store and the staff there can help you find your shade. Normally wheatish Indian skin tones are between NC42 to 45. If you are fair you could be NC 20-25 or so

    Hope this helps!!

  • Hey thanks a lot for the help...really appreciate it.there are not a lot help for make up techniques for indian skin, so this really helps.thanks..

  • @ishadesai7 you are very welcome...feel free to ask any question you have

  • I am NC43 and all of the colors you recommended are great, I bought some based on this video, so thanks! A really great green color that I love and recommend is Sumptuous Olive.

  • @superfunky100 i'm so happy you liked my vid and that you bought some e/s recommended by me....thanks so much, it means a lot

i agree sumptuous olive is a gorg shade....i actually bought a drugstore dupe of it (loreal hip Gunmetal)....but i'm still going to buy sumptuous love soon...lol

  • @NicoleEliz21 Hi Nicole, thanks for checking out my vid and I'm glad you liked the e/s.

    Here a few dupes:

MAC Amber Lights = Milani Sun Goddess, NYX Golden

    MAC Cranberry = NYX Rust

MAC Satellite Dreams = NYX Daffodil

MAC Trax = Coastal Scents S13 hot pot

MAC Deep Truth = CS 23 hot pot

    Hope this helps :)

  • I am NW43 in Mac, Indian. What eye shadow colors do u recommend out of all these for wedding? Please give me combos too. Like lid, crease and highlight. Thank u

  • @chaitu2010 Hi There, thanks for checking out my vid.

Amber lights and Cranberry are typical indian bridal e/s. you can also use Star violet if it matches your outfit. i wore pink outfit for my wedding

combo: amber lights on the inner 1/3 of the lid, cranberry/star violet on the rest of the lid....for highlight Arena is really good, if you want something more shimmery brule or vanilla is good. you can also use amber lights very lightly as a highlight. for crease, use antiqued very lightly

  • @chibu74 Thank u soo much for replying. Also please suggest me a good lipstick and blush for wedding. Thank u in advance.

  • @chaitu2010 Hi, there are tons of options for lipstick - its totally upto you what you like, some people go for red lips becoz of their red outfit, some like it bronzy/goldy, some keep it subtle (pink) due to heavy eye makeup.

for blush, for indian skin peach is the best, mac has lot of good blushes for indian skin, you can to go to the store and try some, coz every blush looks diff. on diff skins, don't forget cheek highlight, pick a nice msf, or try milani luminous blush (cheap alternative)

  • very informayive video. please do some looks. most videos are for either white skin or black skin. no one talks about indian skin tones.

I will definitely buy some of the shades presented in your video...

  • @iwz100 Hi there, thanks for checking out my video. I will definitely post more vids.....i have been busy lately but i'll be uploading more vids soon.

regarding looks, my camera really sucks, so the looks don't come out that well, i'll see if i can play with the settings.

Thanks again for subscribing and for leaving a comment.

  • @Kaykayrose26 yeah, trax is very pretty shade, only thing is I need to work it up to be visible on eyelids....still figuring out how best i can make the color show up.....i got a purple base, i yet have to try how it looks with a purple base....thanks for checking out my channel and vid :)

  • @chibu74 you should try maybe using like a white base..and yeah no problem! :)

  • trax is so pretty

  • I love Trax, it's my fav eyeshadow next to Club... I like the song you played in the vid, who is it? Greetings from Germany! :-)

  • Thanks for watching my vid.....I agree Trax is a beautiful shade.

Lol, i don't really remember what track I selected for the vid....i'll let you know as soon as I figure out.

Thanks again for checking out my channel

  • If you could choose any one natural color for everyday wear which would it be? I don't have enough money for a whole square haha.

  • @ohgoodjoy ,

hi, thanks for your question and sorry about late reply, i had been out of country for a month.

I really recommend MAC's chocolate brown pigment....you can get samples from couple of sites, they last pretty long, you don't need full jar....also Loreal Hip e/s duos are cheap alternative....they have very good shades to pick from....you normally get buy 1 get 1 offer at walgreens, so you will get 8 shades for $7.99....hope this helps....let me know if you have any other question

  • do they have nc44? It goes from 43 to 45. I usue 43 but I use bronzer to make it a little darker.

  • yep, they do...they might not be having online, you can check at the stores.

Thanks for watching.....you may subscribe if you'd like to see more vids like these.

  • The place I live at right now does not have a mac store :(
