Cool, one of the very few bands of this style that used synth drums (the hexagon shaped drums are Simmons drum pads, discontinued in the early 90's). I love synth drums, very defining of the decade. I thought they sounded better then real drums to a certain extent.

I have not seen this video or heard this song in over 25 years. Yes, I'm old. I never had the tape, but I still liked this band. They're second song "I've got no room for you're love." was also a very good song.

This song was popular in the late 80's in a kind of strange time for synth pop music and new wave;they were both dying because hip hop was starting to take off,but I'd rather listen to this or The Call,Baltimora etc.A few bands survived in the 90's because their talent level was just too great to be ignored like Depeche Mode and Duran Duran and even Devo was still making some good stuff but Depeche Mode still lives strong even now and that shows deep reserve in the genius minds of that band.

@nccvball Indeed this song is one of many underrated tunes of the 80s -- many people do not know it even exists! Just about 16 thou views and I think that by now it should have at least ten times that many. But slowly people will discover it. Also, you are right, the quality of the video is superb. Elconquistador did a great job with this one!

The modulation in the melody is very progressive.
