  • Awesome track.

  • Mw4 needs to be about the 5 years between mw and mw2. you would play as ghost or roach and hunt down zahkev's general, only to find that he's a fake then to go after makarov. The final mission would be you as ghost going into a hotel or a casino. freakin epic

  • This track definitely has that "end of the trilogy" feel to it, it's the only good track in this game

  • Personally, I like MW2's soundtrack better... but this score right here tops them all.

  • Yesterday i saw my BF3 Disk punching the f*ck of my MW3 CD.

Today the delivery man came and said: "Who ordered a Gatling Alumunium Promo?" The BF3 disk came and said "That's for me."

At dinner i saw my bedroom filled with bullet holes and both CD's broke..only one alive was...Sing 4

  • 6 EA and DICE employees disliked this.

  • As this song plays, imagine yourself staring off into the sunset, a tempered tired yet defiant look on your face, a rifle in your right hand, your left hand balled up into a fist. You know this may be the end for you and the many of your comrades you fight alongside with, but you can't help but feel confident, content that even as you might die, you die smilling, knowing you'll be taking down as many of the bastards down with you to hell as possible. One thought trumps all: DEFIANT TO THE END!

  • @worldwanderer91 Fuck yeah! URRRRAAAAA!!!!!!

  • Makarov hung himself after hearing this.

  • *sigh*

    Another day, another flame war...

If you don't like the music, why the hell are you here? Go listen to Hans Zimmer since you love him so much.

  • I can't believe someone mistook this crap for Zimmer's work. You honestly think Zimmer would make something this "half ass?"

  • Maybe, maybe, just as good as Halo's soundtrack, but ONLY because of Hans Zimmer. If he wasn't there, IW/SH would be absolutely screwed.

  • @sushi064 this is by brian tyler NOT hans zimmer

  • Also if I'm a girl I love this game and it's ost **

  • Awesome soundtrack!

And I'm a BF player so it means a lot from me :)

  • @ggokartguy Not really! I love BF3 and MW3 but yet I still get critized on BF3 and MW3 for have playing them both every day lol

  • Are you sure this isn't Jablonksy?

  • @kronen15 100% sure, and I know how similar it is to Jablonsky's work (especially Transformers).

  • @Tridyrium Jablonsky the best !

  • Reminds me of transformers...

  • Whats the name of the song that plays when In "Blood Brothers", during the sniper sequence? I can't seem to find it in the OST.

  • Came here from the Battlefield 3 theme to compare. Think I'll be going back now. This is okay, but eh.

  • A mix between Transformers and Crimson Tide. It's okay.

  • And they didnt put this in the multiplayer or the main menu? It would be epic having juggernaunt with this music on.

  • I'm a Battlefield competitive player, and i prefer Modern Warfare's OST's to Battlefield 3s. MW3 has/had alot of effort in creating them, Hans Zimmer, Brian Tyler etc. Battlefield 3 is just...DUH DUH DUH DUH :(..Such a shame, but glad theres always CoD to fill in the gaps.

  • @SimplyNooby did you know that Battlefield 3 OST is a remix from battlefield 1942's (and more) music? It is just a bit spiced up. I personally think that that is more creative :)

  • @SwedishPeopleRocks Never played 1942, i started in Bad Company 1. Guess i learn something new everyday ;)!

  • @SimplyNooby try Battlefield: Bad Company 2's OST

  • Did anyone else hear the hints of "Heart of Courage" around 1:22?

  • Comment removed

  • this song makes me think about transformers

  • I kinda like the battlefield 3 one more.

  • Zimmer makes nice music but it's always similar...

  • @yesledman2 Read the description, it's by Brian Tyler, not Zimmer.

  • @Tridyrium Yes my mistake.

  • @Tridyrium If you are going to steal... steal from the best.

  • @yesledman2 im sorry but i strongly disagree... Zimmer has huge variety of music, and instrument sounds in his compositions. Just listen to The Rock soundtrack, then Dark Knight, then Pirates and you tell me they sound similar...Zimmer is my all time favorite, Brian TYler and Jablonsky come right behind, and theres bunch others I love like Harry Gregson Williams and James Newton Howard

  • @ScSSwav Yes, they are. It's always same style. I like it a lot but it doesn't change much.

  • This music sounds so similar to transformers movie series music i swear

  • @MrShadowzek He writes his music exactky in Steve Jablonsky's style. (The guy who wrote the music from TF)

  • COD Has great campaigns, Ive never played a game that has impacted me as much as these do.

  • MGS, CoD and HALO what else? (don't start writing about skyrim and other good games, it's just a comment...)

  • @XxSniperRepivxX you used to like skyrim then you took an arrow in the kknee.

  • @TheJor9ito yap xD

  • kinda reminds me of the rock theme also composed by hans zimmer around 10 years ago,he's basically using his same work.

this is the attitude of an artist towards a game company that recycles their shit every year to suck the world dry

  • MAKE A DUBSTEP OUT OF THIS

  • @wbloop2: Solomon's theme is awesome! What about The Death of Vladimir?

  • @wbloop2: I agree. Their soundtrack, in my opinion has a more distinct feeling than Battlefield 3. But, the Battlefield 3 soundtrack is awesome, too.

  • @JakeMorgan606 Yeah, the OST for BF3 is good, it has some great tracks like "Solomon's Theme", but the MW3 soundtrack is still much better.

  • When it is the end of the game, Price looking around, smoking, with this music playing, it is actually a feel of peace, and sad for Soap and Yuri and ALL the people before. The war is ended, finally. I wanted to be Price himself, to be honest, for I will be able to kill Makarov in PERSON. That is what the game gave me, an unbelievable feel. I love this music. It is absolutely stunning.

  • Transformers Ending

    :D

  • i play bf but i have to admit, COD music is better

  • I don't really like the CoD games, I'm more the Battlefield player, but what I absolutely love about the CoD games are the fantastic soundtracks. I can't get enough of it. It's a much better soundtrack than the one for BF3.

  • If cod were to have a movie hans and brian would have to team up their ost would be amazing!

  • if call of duty ever got a movie, it would have to be all 3 modern warfares

  • ..... IDK why but since Cod mw 2.... base is some what disturbing..... making dumb dumb dumb (do not interpret this as the word) base sound.... If the sound was reduced, (I am currently using the surrounding headset) that would be much like movie !

  • Feels like I'm listening to a track from Metal Gear Solid

  • @Helljumper425 I think the company likes MGS so they want the game to feel like MGS.

  • Lmao what a ps3 fangirl below me....god of war..? Uncharted? Good music? Next i will hear that haze is better than halo

  • @lordmasterization You're retarded. Uncharted's soundtrack is pretty unreal, and the theme is great. God of War is pretty damn epic as well. And don't even get me started on Metal Gear Solid. Halo is pretty damn good as well, but you can't ignore PS3 games.

  • @lordmasterization u madddd

  • I was looking all over the place for good CoD Soundtrack vids, glad I found one from my favorite Halo soundtrack man.

    Dude, you're beast.

  • who dares win!

  • Call of Duty not only recycles its game engine but the Transformers Soundtrack. Still pretty good.

  • @DominicanOps personally i liked mw2's ost the best, but this gives that feeling of a "finale" or "victory"

  • Am I the only one who likes MW3 soundtrack style more than MW2 becuase it feels closer to CoD4's style?

    Briam Tyler, you the man.

  • @MrTybach mw2 had some pretty good pieces but mw3s main theme is just beautiful.

  • i don't play COD, but this is awesome...reminds me of the 'pirates' soundtracks, which are amazing...i guess thats the hans zimmerness xx

  • sound too dramatic mw2 was better

  • Awesome love it.

  • Why don't all games have scores such as this equivalent to those of movies? I mean, games have always had good background music, but they dont have music with impact, music that stands out and catches your ear as you play, music like this. I think it's time for the real introduction of scores into videogames.

  • @iin4an3Tenn uh...Halo, Mass Effect, Crysis, Skyrim , Assassin's Creed, Gears of War, Star Wars (which is already movie music)? There are PLENTY of other games with movie-level music, you just haven't played enough nor listened enough to notice.

But, this all comes down to your personal tastes as to which has good impact or not enough, depending on what type of music/games that person has listened to/ played, that's where people's judgement comes from.

  • @Tridyrium listen to /watch?v=W_KbDYo5tpY&feature=related

the music of this game will blow your mind, but nott just this track, all of em.

  • @Tridyrium don't you dare to forget the Metal Gear Solid soundtrack!! :P

  • @Tridyrium

Dont forget Ace Combat. Now THAT has epic OST.

  • @Tridyrium You forgot Uncahrted, God of war, and EVERY METAL GEAR GAME out there.

  • @Tridyrium how'd ya like skyrim, i thought it was great

  • @speznazporkchop It's amazing, and there's still so many things out there (in Skyrim) that I haven't gotten to yet...it's long, very long.

  • @Tridyrium i hope i never find everything

  • @Tridyrium dont forget Battlefield bad company 2's music...its amazing

  • @iin4an3Tenn

You must be new to video games or just don't play enough of them.

  • @iin4an3Tenn guitar hero ?

  • @iin4an3Tenn

Uh, "all games"? Do all movies have same quality soundtracks?

Second, GAMES ARE NOT FUCKING MOVIES. In gaming the non-linear, player controlled timeline of experience has different requirements than the rigid causality of movies.

Also, go listen to Starcraft 2's soundtrack. That's better music than most movies have nowadays. Strategy genre and rpgs in general have always had the best musics in gaming. Shooters kinda stopped sucking in the story department only durin last gen.

  • @iin4an3Tenn You obviously have never heard of Knights of the Old Republic soundtrack.

  • @iin4an3Tenn Games are different from films. The music in films tend to dictate the mood in a linear fashion in accordance to how the film has been shot and edited. With games, the setting is more ambiguous. However, COD's campaign is very linear and influenced by action films. Thus, it is appropriate for a score like this. Plus, it's not like you can just walk into a studio and record a soundtrack off the top of your head.

  • @iin4an3Tenn Hans Zimmer did the music for MW2.

  • @iin4an3Tenn if you want music like that go check out Battlefield 3 theme

  • This should've been in inception

  • best part 0:28

  • truly epic

  • this was probably the best song in the game. Too bad the soundtrack of this doesn't nearly measure up to MW2s. This is still one of my favorite tracks in the call of duty series

  • i love this style

  • I'm downloading every single one of these to my IPod. Right now.

  • it has nothin to do with MW2 soundtracks :( It was so awesome

  • @RichyRoo832 hey no spoilers

  • @RichyRoo832 y u spoil?

  • this is kinda a morale soaring song

  • Love Brian Tyler's work, favorite scores he did was The Hunted, AVP-R, Rambo and Battle Los Angeles.

  • This really reminded me of the Transformers soundtrack and I appreciated every single moment of the game it was played!

  • Brian Tyer did an Awesome Job here Hans Zimmer might be better but Brian Tyler is awesome when it comes to war movie soundtracks like the soundtrack of BATTLE: LA that he made was EPIC!!!! :D

  • This song has tempted me to buy the game

  • @RichyRoo832 I jizzed it my pants when this song came in while i was playing.. SO EPIC. :)

  • it has a.....a...... a inception fell to it you know?

  • @youyoukevin It has a .....a..... a inception feel to it you know

    Fixed

  • beeeeest soundtrack in the game !

  • My headphones don't get any louder fuck!

  • What is the music that plays during the multiplayer menu?

  • after listening to this i went back to listen to the MW2 intro and damn MW2 intro still beats this one and the rest...hanz zimmer is just tooo good

  • This guy is pretty good. Nice hollywood blockbuster feel to it

  • I may not like this as much as Hans Zimmer, but it sure is dang epic. MW3 4 L!FE

  • Great piece of music, not so good game.

  • While Hanz Zimmer was epic with the soundtrack of MW2, i must say that i felt confident hearing Brian Tyler was composing this one. Epic track

  • I wonder what was going through Brian Tyler's head when he started this

"Hey how would you like to compose the soundtrack for Modern Warfare 3"

"Yeah that sounds great.... Who did the music for the 2nd one again?"

    "Hans Zimmer"

    "O f....."

  • @ProtohTypX Well buddy regardless of who you like the most, I personally think both of them made a pretty good work, what you think?

  • @marco12501 Zimmer...MW2's soundtrack sticks in my head way better...although I think Tyler did a decent job himself (the credits theme kind of stuck to my head), it's just that everyone now has ridiculously high expectations because of who did the OST behind him. Remember Baba Yetu from Civilization 4? It was so epic that even though the soundtrack for the Civ5 wasn't actually bad in any way, it still got a ton of hate

  • @ProtohTypX lol nice

  • @ProtohTypX why didnt they bring hans back

  • @RadioactiveKetchup Don't ask me, I don't work at Infinity Ward! LOL

My guess is that Zimmer was probably too busy working on other stuff, but my guess is as good as any

  • @ProtohTypX

:P the music was BY Hans Zimmer, but Brian Tyler wrote it :D *check le credits* :P

  • @ProtohTypX Hans Zimmer > Mozart and Brian Tyler

  • @ProtohTypX Im gald that he did a comepletey different type of theme :)

  • Why no Hanz Zimmer anymore ?!?! ;/

  • Steve Jablonsky style.

  • @lKerlo My toughts exactly!

  • @lKerlo I love it even more like that, the epic, intense, emotional feeling you get from listening to these epice scores.

  • @lKerlo I know, right? I was playing through the first two missions of the MW3 campaign and thought to myself, "Man, this almost sounds exactly like Dark of The Moon."

  • @lKerlo no hans zimmer style steve takes pages of hans zimmers book. If you refer to Transformers, thats a ripoff from King arthur which is Hans Zimmer

  • @lKerlo

    Funny you mentioned it.

Brian Tyler also made the main theme for the TV series "Transformers Prime"... and it is reminiscent of Steve Jablonsky's ost for the Live Action Transformers films.

Also, this sounds like the score for "World Invasion: Battle LA" as well, considering he also made that.

  • Reminds me a bit of Battle LA and the Fast and Furious series...

  • Whyy Brian Tyler come on!!! out of all cod soundtracks it was HANS ZIMMER... how disappointed, Thumps up "it should of been HANS ZIMMER"

  • @dlau490 Too late now bro

  • Once again dude, you surpass my expectations, how did you got the OST so fast?
