Fuck the British? they conquered entire northern america, they took it from the French and the Spanish (the most powerful nations of the 1600's). and only lost it after 7 years of a backstab war, far from europe and home. They liberated portugal from the grip of napoleon. They held out for 4 years in both world wars against a far larger force. They are not big men just because of conquering the zulu's, also america, india, australia. They moulded the world as it is today

Backstab was what the King insisted in doing to the colonists. They helped(not liberated) Portugal against Napoleon for personal interests and they even looted us more than the French. They conquered most of canada and established the thirteen colonies, the basis of the modern united states. didn't portugal do the same in Brazil? and Goa? China has never had major colonial expansions, so that's quite a useless argument.

It was only after the Independency that the Americans started conquering new places and becoming economically and militarly powerful. If it weren't the british it would have been the Spanish or the French. Portugal did the same with Brazil yes but I didn't said they conquered America.
Mandarin I was talking about the language fool. Mandarin is the 2nd.

what you describe as stolen is standard colonazation. I can't recall any colony that wasn't taken from a people that already lived there. Britain, as the leading nation of the Industrial revolution, provided a solid economical base for enlightenment to grow of the minds of British colonial settlers. France and Spain tried to do the same but failed, so are you bickering about Britain just because they were succesful? Mandarin is the most spoken language in the world btw

Then how would you establish a colony? buy it? put a pile of sand in the ocean and call it your new land? And where on earth did that pollution come from, the industrial revolution is the reason why you're not digging in some cropfield to survive or why you are actually alive at all. Mandarin is the leading language because of the 1 billion chinese in China, not because it is the most spread over the world. I know the Zulu's weren't that much of a challenge, but still.

Industrial Revolution in Englnd brought many problems both to Scandinavia but also to other regions in the GB,Nature problems. Britain and France were at war since 1100, does it matter if they fight in europe or in their colonies. You can't be the mightiest power in the world for 300 years by being nice to everyone. The Green Revolution only hit China after WW2, when the communists took over and focused on agriculture, this lead to the big boom of Chinese. I took the liberty of looking it up for you: there are an estimated 40 million chinese outside china, so it's not that spread is it? Anything else you want to know?

you blame the British for fighting over colonial grounds in the colonial age with people they were already at war with. Blame them for pollution in an age where masses of firewood were replaced by coal and steam, absolutely not a single person in the world cared about trees or bunnies and which led to comfy life we have today. And then some weird 'what-if' arguments about chinese.

The British Commonwealth includes entire Canada. Indeed, they didn't conquer everything of the current U.S., but pretty much everything there was in those days. The American Revolution was a backstab war since the British built up a magnificent colony and the armed forces protected it on land and sea, yet they still thought they were the bad guys. A. Wellesly literally 'liberated' the iberian peninsula from Boney and Britain was outnumbered in both world wars, as in 'outnumbered'

@NapoleonTotalWarFG Yes, they would have so many wagons in South Africa as they had about 2-3 men to a tent and this a battle has about 1,000 British soldiers, a few ammunition, food (lots of tinned), medical equipment and many other things that should have been trapped around by lorry not horses. (I know they hadn't been invented by then :P)
