i don't think the writers of this show enjoy making fights because every huge fight scene that we expect always last like 30 sec...i think the writers focus on making a good storyline, and hooking you up into the story. And

I kinda liked this episode its a classic DC Comics story. Not everything that happens is set in stone and is always changeable. I don't know if a lot of people who watch the show actually read comics. Lois has that ring so anything is possible.

Henry James Olsen dies in Smallville and the younger brother(which name he used because he loved his little brother) is the Jimmy in the comic books. Clark is coming the realization of his humanity holding him back from the hero he becomes. If you read the Superman comic books they mix Superman, Legion, and the start of the Justice League to direct Smallville series. Of course they're great parts and bad parts, but everything we watch does to.

Besides, superheroes are not perfect and all series, movies and comics are there to show people that everybody makes mistakes, and that everybody needs to go forward! I don't know what country and region of the world you are from, but I have to say that you don't need to Fword in every second sentence to make your point! It is really sad seeing people using filthy language and behaviour to show themselves as modern and up to date!

If you listened to the Priest at Jimmy's funeral, you'd know that his real full name was Henry James Olsen. He probably adopted Jimmy from his brother's name and middle name.

I did not like the season finale at all. I thought they did such a horrible job with ending doomsday's character. The comics hyped doomsday up, he is the only person to kill superman and smallville fell short of what they could have done b/w him and clark. They brought back some of the justice league for nothing it seemed to me. Just thought the writes could have done a better job for a season finale!! I love your reviews though and are looking forward to them next season!!!

zod never died,clark put him in the phantom zone and besides,zod dies in superman 2 because if you've watched the superman movies with christopher reeve,zod comes back from the zone with ursula & nam & by then,clark is already superman.i think lois goes back in time and maybe saves jimmy cause again,jimmy is in all the superman movies,davis is dead,doomsday is in a long sleep underground until he awakens(and you know what happends after that!)but im sure season 9 will give us answers!

the moment he discovered clark's secret i knew something bad will happen to him.

almost no one learns of clark's secret and lives to tell about it or doesn't get his brain fried and memory wiped.

Jimmy's little brother, who's also named Jimmy (which in itself is very stupid) is the *real* jimmy from the comics.

yea i figured that when chloe gave jimmys camera to his little brother & said to him"something tells me you're gonna follow in his footsteps"but wouldnt lois be like 40 or 50 by the time "jimmy" grows up to work at the daily planet & perry white (whos already in his 60's when clark is superman) be dead by then? it doesnt make any sence,as for lois,she went back in time,so i think she might do something to alter history or she might find out things she never knew about clark,like his secret?!

Jimmy never works as a full time reporter he's an intern at the daily planet and he was 18 at that time so i dnt think its that long. and this jimmy in the smallville the one at the burial the small one yea he looked around maybe 13 or 12 so i think it can work

lol at the "fight" scene in this episode. i hyped myself up thinking that it was gonna be at least a minute long. and that clark would at least throw a few punches/use his heat vision/mega breath...but no all we get is doomsday hitting a couple of time and then clark grabbing him and jumping off. fucking should have known that it was gonna be sucky like this. heh GG faggot writers.
