Well FTR we were just stopped and they took off before I could my helmet strap.

After numerous attempts to get them to notice me I just flew past them and notice how I pulled over? so they would get the idea to stop.

you can clearly see that noone was at the stop sign. If someone was then I wouldn't have ran it.
