I remember watching this drama and the other 2 of Plum Blossom series. And this is absolutely the best!! the other 2 was also great. I recommend all three, but this one most.

How I miss old series... they have a better solid storyline, but yeah, minus the crying parts.. hehe.

@quasar yes the story was really great in this drama. I'm planning on uploading the whole series in the future (when I can find a high quality copy) and would really like to edit out some of the extended crying and trying to kill self scenes- of course, without cutting out any of the great lines, somehow.

Nup... everything about this series is good. Great cast, great director, great scene, great costume and great response from the view. Unfortunately,the only NOT good thing is your comment.

oh really? the directing is horrible, cutting is bad, acting were all over the top, the score is so random, u get like 3 diffrent scores in a 2 minute scene (lolwtf?). But hey, this is typical 琼瑶 style, everything is as much over the top as possible, non of the characters really connect with reality.

I have to disagree with you. This series has one of the better cinematography around. The acting may went overboard at some level but it gave so much of feelings from the viewer perspective.

i'll tell you the title... it's "yuan yang jin". yuan yang, as you probably know, is chinese love birds that always travel in a pair. jin is the material that they made high class clothes out of. yuang yang jin is the material and the picture they have on newly wed's pillow. so when she sings "dan yuan tong zhan yuan yang jing" it means she wishes that they would marry one day.
