  • I LOVE BEING BLACK IF YOU GO TO FUCKINGSHITWHYDOPEOPLEPOSTHTESECOMMENTSALLTHETIME. c o m THEN YOU CAN DUNK ON A 20 FOOT HOOP LIKE ME

  • aids

  • @MrFlavaThon okayee 1st of all he has HIV not AIDS

  • Abdul-Jabbar with his fuckin' Sky Hook, FATALITY!! kkkkkkk

Magic was a 2,03cm tall point guard that's awesome!!

  • @UTubeAngelofDeath He is only the world's best whiner.

  • Best Point Guard That The NBA Ever Had. Period...

  • What year did Ervin get the name "Magic"?

  • @babykevinxoxo in high schoool

  • 0:45 wtf that was like a video steal lol

  • @UTubeAngelofDeath The other 10 people who liked it thought it was pretty funny.

  • @UTubeAngelofDeath awkward, I love lebron. Ive been playing basketball since I was 8. Im now 17. Ever heard of a satire. Im making fun on the people who make fun of lebron.

  • from bangor maine... quite fitting LOL

  • If he was truly Magic he wouldn't have aids

  • @burgers112706 Weird... he doesn't have AIDS. He has the HIV virus which causes AIDS. However, he is on medications that prevent HIV from turning into AIDS.

  • @mpetrie You sure im pretty sure its turned into full blown AIDS

  • @burgers112706 Do some "googling"... you'll see he does not have AIDS but just has the AIDS causing virus called HIV. He's taking medication to fight the virus to prevent it from turning into AIDS.

  • @mpetrie Meh I was at one of the corporate motivation speechs he was speaking at and thats what i thought i heard oh well.

  • you cant compare magic to jordan...they played different positions...different offensive and defensive roles...they were the best on their positions period

  • so that's what kareem abdul jabbar looks like

  • bangor maine awwww yea thats whats up

  • he is Magic!

  • They might be shorter because of what kind of food most people are eating nowadays. They ate a lot of healthier food back then, just look at what kind of food are abundant right now hahaha

  • @useurcamera people back in the days were skinny unlike now. goddamn it. all fat dumbass peoples now fats in those early 80's

  • Comment removed

  • hahah kareem with the hook

  • is it me or do nba players in the 80s look taller than the ones today? maybe its the short shorts...

  • @J1mmyAva1on That's because they were taller. The average height of players in the 80s and 90s is taller than the average height today. If memory serves me right, this decade is one of the, if not the shortest in the NBA's modern history.

  • @J1mmyAva1on its lankiness

  • G.O.A.T - Earvin "magic" Johnson!!!

  • wow that time LA have two best guys for their positions !

a guard and center ! dayym

  • @junhobbit that's the mix of a tall guy and the point guard position

  • Jordan>Kobe>Magic>Brian Scalabrine> LeBron

  • @paki123 FUCK BRIAN SCALABRINE

  • @paki123 Scalabrine>Jordan>Kobe>Magic>LeBron :)

  • @paki123 Scalabrine>Kwame>Mbenga>everyone else :D

  • Jordan helped the bulls WIN 6 finals. 6>5

  • Magic Johnson was so good, a franchise was named after him lol

  • Chamberlain is the best center of all time. Not the best at making his teammates better though.

  • he had a big smile because he didn't realize all that pussy he was getting would end up giving him HIV.

  • my teacher tells me magic is better than micheal idk idc there both awesome

  • @johnnycage435 Magic could do more than Michael. Magic could do it all. Score, rebound, assist. Magic helped take the Lakers to 8 or 9 finals. They won 5. MJ helped get the Bulls to 6 finals.

  • @reno93535 Jordan was far superior to Magic Johnson on defense.

  • @BeatsBearsBattlestar I'd say Jordan was a better defender. I don't know about far superior. Magic 5.5 defensive rebounds per game along with 1.9 steals and .4 blocks. Jordan 4.7 defensive rebounds per game along with 2.3 steals and .8 blocks. Interesting thing while researching I found that Larry Bird also averaged .8 blocks per game.

  • @reno93535 jordan is the best defensive guard in the history of the game. magic has literally no all-defensive teams, and jordan has 9. he's also won defensive player of the year. jordan was far superior to magic on defense.

  • Whats up with the stalker voiced commentator on 0:35?

  • this guy is like the biggest pg ever

  • The NBA today has roughly as many hard workers and "head-cases" as it had in the 1970s, 1980s, and 1990s. I know it's natural to idealize the past/be nostalgic, but that shouldn't keep you from enjoying the present. Early-2000s NBA was not very pretty, but there are some really good *teams* playing right now if you take the time to watch.

  • @vacuumcleanerbot the greatest man ;P.

  • his voice has never changed lol!

  • Kareem: Jeez we cant be at this emotional pitch the whole season or we wont make it through thanksgiving. LOL

  • black dudes looked so cool and relaxed those days... now they are all hot headed on edge and shit.i

i love their hair styles and side burns... they looked so much more cooler =)

  • @julianoner That's b/c black players back then did not have a sense of entitlement like they do today. Bunch of spoiled brats.

  • yeah tru that... money has changed the world these days hasn't it?

i can see this through my family.....

  • @julianoner It has nothing to do with black or white players....money is green...its about the money...and with this money comes an arrogance that most people cannot handle...

  • @Sherpaful I agree. The game sure has changed and not necessarily for the better. If today's players would worry more about practicing their freethrows, shooting and defense rather than their endorsements, tatoos, or sneaker brands, then they might be as good as the players back then. Heart, passion, and respect need to be on the right place!

  • @Sherpaful That's why it's so refreshing to see players that put in hours in the gym despite already having a max contract. Ray Allen would be a good example.

  • @julianoner I agree. Most of today's players are all into the heavy tatoos and bad ass attitude.

  • u kno wot earvin.....dont eva do that again

  • Sky-Hook= FTW!!!

  • lol when i were as tall as kareem i would win the nba title alone

  • The most amazing shot of ALL time: the sky hook. And that shot was developed cuz they outlawed dunking in college during Alcindor's final two years. What a loss to all basketball talent that they allowed it back in, just think of all the artistry that was lost just so someone can dunk.

  • cool 70s porn music

  • kareem looks mad black LOL

  • lebron travelled.

  • @CCWAVES What the hell? Lebron wasn't even in this video

  • @idmt23 oi your a faggot cunt!

  • @CCWAVES You are a MOTHERFUCKING BITCH!

  • @CCWAVES

WHERE!?WHERE IS LEBRON IN THIS VID?!

  • @CCWAVES ummmm..... LAME!

  • @CCWAVES your mom... SHUT THE FUCK UP@##

  • Magic Johnson is truly an idol

  • Kareem, we cant be emotional.

  • Magic is the classiest player to ever play in the NBA

  • Magic & Bird they save the NBA

  • @theprofessor23 ABSOLUTLY !!!!!!!!! MJ SAVED THE NBA...BULLSHIT.....MAGIC AND BIRD SAVED THE NBA PERIOD

  • hook shot at the freethrow line elbow Dam dude he good

  • @vayahoo A lot of centers these days couldn't even make a open jumper at the free throw line, much less a hook shot.

  • Great basketball story.

  • hook-shot from 3 point line xD

  • Jordans the only one greater than Magic. Jordan>Magic>bird.

  • @jimmylegs06 Magic Johnson is the best ever. Magic can play every position, Jordan couldn't. Plus Jordan wasn't known for getting other's involved (aka....he would have twice as more shots than anyone else)

  • kobe>jordan>magic>at least 50 people before lebron

  • @chaosnewterer LeBron is better than Kobe...i would love to see Kobe win (doesn't even have to ring) with the team LeBron had in Cleveland which just got whooped by 55 points...

  • THE GREATEST LAKER OF ALL TIME...AND SECOND BEST OF ALL TIME AFTER MICHAEL

  • We can't be like that, we won't make it to Thanksgiving!!! LOL, Kareem just OWNED here! And guess what, they won the title that year!!!

  • Fuck you HIV, fuck you.

  • @mosnaidei agreed. Micheal jordan < kobe < lebron < Magic Johnson.

  • @CalmEdits

?? You would have Kobe and Lebron over Jordan?? I hope that thing means Jordan over the other 3

  • @CalmEdits are you fucking kidding me?!? lebron over magic? youre probably too young to know better. if you ever saw magic play you wouldnt say that

  • no no no no no no no

kareem? definitely one of the greatest centres of all time

but no way are chamberlain and russel overrated

chamberlain is the best offensive centre there has ever been

and russel is the best defensive centre there has ever been

the videos, the record books, they say it all

  • omg look at that kareem shot. hookshot from the freethrow

  • Is the narator gay? or just drunk or smth?

  • Emotion should be expressed, especially as it is the first game,...to contain one's self is to deny one's self, be free, be open, be expressive....its a fucking game...ENJOY YOURSELF...that's right Kareem...good onya Magic...you keep it up!

  • lol magic looks like Tyrus Thomas + Chris Paul

  • omg I think so too

  • @junhobbit size like tyrus thomas but the skill like chris paul lol

  • Comment removed

  • I think you mean to say Tyrus Thomas+ Chris Paul look like Magic. Haha. I know what you mean.

  • thats a bad ass rookie killing everybody like that

  • jst luvn the hate comments lol

  • WHAT ABOUT KOBE AND MJ VS THE REST

  • Magic looks alot like Tyrus Thomas..their faces are very similar

  • kareem is the best center of all time definitely

  • All the great centers are such different players so it is very hard to rank them. If I had to I would go:

    1. Wilt

    2. Kareem

    3. Russell

    4. Shaq

    5. Hakeem

  • BULLSHIT!!!

His name was Lew Alcindor before he become Kareem Abdul Jabber

  • how much u wanna bet and btw ur cool cuz u can cuss im so impressed

  • I´m gonna bet a billion if u want. Just look it up. If u don´t know what u talkin aboat, just leave it!

  • lol his name was lew alcinder... wilt chamberlain is wilt chamberlain check em out at UCLA back in his day

  • @cheesedudes18 OMg your an idiot. LOL

  • @cheesedudes18

you idiot. wilt chamberlain was always wilt chamberlain.

it was LEW ALCINDOR who changed his name to kareem abdul jabbar

  • An Mohammed Ali was formerly known as Max Schmeling. And Dr. J. = Dr. Jordan.

  • @tcon12345

Y que me dices de Patrick Ewing

  • And why? In my opinion Russell and Chamberlain are overrated. Yes, they have great statistics and Russell won a lot of championships. But they didn't play in the era of modern basketball. Chamberlains career was early over because there is no place for strappers like Chamberlain. Chamberlain had only power but no shot, no intelligence, no ambitous technique. Kareem played twenty years on a high level.

  • @aderorr

    He was a PG

  • @Podblur Nah, Magic was only listed PG because he started there most of the time, he actually started and played also SG-SF-PF alot and even Center at times.

John Stockton, Isiah Thomas is just a PG..... Magic was much more than just a PG....... because of his size, talent, skills he was much more versatile allowed him to dominate and play almost all positions.... kindof like like only Lebron James today, hence the comparasions...

  • @aderorr While I think that this is a reasonable assessment I would rate Olajuwon higher. His post game was as destructive as Kareem's and more varied (Kareem had a truly unstoppable shot, why would he deviate from that) , but ultimately a better defender, shotblocker and rebounder.

  • @aderorr thats cus he had the best pg ever

  • @aderorr

Kareem is one of the best centers of all time without a doubt, but what about Bill Russel and Wilt Chamberlain?

  • @aderorr Kareem is definitely a great center who is the all-time leading scorer but that statement could be argued. There's a lot of great franchise centers like Wilt Chamberlain, Bill Russell, Shaquille O'Neal, David Robinson and Patrick Ewing to name some. But for me, Hakeem "The Dream" Olajuwon is the greatest center of all time because he's got the complete package. Just look at his stats, skills and accomplishments. Even MJ said that he would pick Hakeem as the greatest center of all time.

  • @MrDarkstalker15 Hakeem was a nightmare for opposing teams. Even Shaq with all his brute strength could not beat him.

  • @aderorr finally someone who believes that too

  • @aderorr no michael jordans da best playa

  • @aderorr I don't know, I think Bill Russell is better. But it's my opinion.

  • @aderorr are u kidding me? its Bill Russell

  • @aderorr What about Chamberlain ?

  • @aderorr no wilt chamberling

  • odee.. if magic and kobe were in the same team, that be godly...

  • dude, come on! lebron and magic, much more identical players and lebron on the fast break is nearly unstoppable

  • Imagine the following pairs playing against each other: Magic-Kareem against Kobe-Shaq.

    I bet on MJ-Kareem.

  • Imagine if Jordan ever teamed up with Hakeem? Now that would be unstoppable. As for Kobe/shaq vs Magic/kareem its kobe and Shaq. Shaq was in his prime when Kareem was teamed up with magic he was already10 years in the NBA.

  • il + grande

  • this is da 3d time ive seen ur post..

  • whats so awesome about the "skyhook" anyway? lol

  • If you know how to use the skyhook, no one can block you. You cannot imagine how frustrating it is for the defenders.

Maybe it is not so beautiful, but it works.

  • most ungaurdable shot shot if used properly like abdul jabbar.

  • seriously? there's like three players who blocked his skyhook. he could do a midrange skyhook. lots of centers can't shoot an ordinary midrange shot

  • magic n kobe to best lakers ever n there has been so many great storied players to come there but those two are going to be at the top

  • wilt charberlains the best laker player you dip shit..........

  • chamberlains the best laker player

  • no love for Shaq or Kareem?

  • ......that's the START of SHOWTIME!

  • YA MUM ALL DAY!!!

  • LAKERS ALL DAY!!!

  • Brent Mussenberger!? haha

  • skyhook in free throw line, my goodness, nobody can do that now

  • nobody tries to do that

  • kareem best hook shot ever

  • I wish they included his interview from '96 where he said how Kareem said, "We've got 81 more games, QUIT CHOKIN' ME!" (laughter)..."But (serious) he needed to realize that I was going to do that for 81 more games.

  • wooooo i love earvin "magic" johnson !

-LAKERS- 2008-2009 NBA Chmaps Baby !

  • 2008 champs - Celtics

    2009 champs - Lakers

    l

    l

    V

  • Aww, Magic's a baby here!

  • NiCe

  • he speaks very like chris paul!

  • that skyhook had a little luck behind it... but kareem is the one of the best

  • and . . . a legend begin!

  • 0:50 that's basketball IQ for you

  • this guy is cool

  • Narrator sounds like Danny Glover.

  • What a great guy, glad he's still involved.

  • a skyhook from the elbow at the buzzer. unbelievable .

  • nothin but net tooo..... !!

    !!!SPLASH!!!

  • happy b-day MAGIC

  • Magic Johnson was amazing if it wasn't for his size and playing multiple positions he would have to be considered the greatest.

  • you do realize his size is what made him the greatest PG right?

  • You do realize that his size is unusual for a PG? Therefore you can't attribute all oh his success on his size. He's great because he could take shots and pass balls like no other.
