Unfortunately he was also lazy in his vocals and he could have achieved so much more than he gave us. That is not a put down but an affirmation of many critics of his talents.

Pavorotti is the most amazing voice this planet has ever heard! I was blessed to grow up listening to him because of my father, Patrick J. Forde! I was looking for tickets for him on-line, three days later he passed away! My father wanted to see him more than anyone in the world, I cried, so did he! You are terribly missed! I recommend you "I pagliacci" of pavarotti too. It is another opera aria.

Also, the magic flute, singed by women, like "Luciana Serra" and others.

You can also see one nice version of nessun dorma with pavarotti in 1980 / New York. It is pavarotti at his best.

"I Pagliacci" is the title of the opera.You must be talking about Vesti La Giubba which is the bestknown aria from that opera.And Nessun Dorma?for me singing that aria by Luciano finished in 1990.later his voice was not the same.1980 from NY is very good,he was magnificent at the time.after 1990 it was not the same and after 1994 it was only the shadow of young Pavarotti.sad but true.so people should listen older versions to hear Luciano at his best.unfortunately they don't
