This is a great videoI loved the effects you used, the whole video has a consistent mood to it. The sue of the dub audio tracks was good (I love the dub but I'll admit that DNA Charge comes off cheesy in comparison to DigiSoul), though I would have liked to hear some of the other Tamers speak as well. The only thing I disliked were the bars that you used with the Digivolutions inside, couldnt tell if they were synced.
But still great vid, you're getting really pro at this. Are you still using Vegas? For for Goddramons sake, when are you gonna give us some download links! XD

It never bothered me till i actully sat down and started scrubbing through audio clips 2 try in aid the story of my vid. the more i listened to them and compared the lines to that of the subs i found the dub was lacking the seriousness or emotion of the original. And the more i compared the more intolariable it became XD. like the whole DNA charge bit just bothered the hell outta me but i really needed that part for the story of my vid so i just went into "grin and bear it" mode lol.
ANd yeah i wanted some of the other tamers to talk too but i couldnt really find any decent lines from them to correspond with what i was trying to do, and as we all know massaru hogs the spot light ALLZ DA TYME and yes it's spelled very stupid like that because thats the only way i can describe the massaru and agumon show. Stupid! So of course he gets all the deep lines and whatnot. Blah!
And the digivolutions were timed to some drum beats in the background. When i made the amv i was using headphones then my left channel went out... Only Goddramon knows how many beats i may have missed on the right XD. But it looked close enough to me. SO yeeaahhhhh... They Might be synced to one channel only... ^^" lol my laziness shines huh. but on top of that i had a dead line to meat so their was really no time for corrections.
ANd im not sure bout the public DL links, I'm still little PO-ed bout the rats that got my other vids and the ones that claimed 2b me O_x"
but if you don't mind, can you tell kaze and the others that this exist since youtube wants to make my sub thingy NOT work... I don't want it to seem like im spaming my vid or anything.
Good. Very good. The voice at the beginning was very well-used, however the voices in the 2nd minute kind of dragged on, and the background noise for the sound clip (sort of sounds like a glow or wind or something) makes the cuts in the clip obvious and doesn't sound so good... All that is nit-picky, though. There were no problems with video quality from what I can tell. The text was pretty cool but could have been timed better. The border was a really nice touch. I like watching this a lot
Hm.. now that I think about it, around 1:35 or so when the digivolutions were showing.. The digivolutions in full color were a little bit hard on the eyes against the grayscaled background.
Oh, one more thing I noticed. I thought it was just lag the first few times, but at :54 the framerate of Gaomon (i think that was his name?) standing up is terrible. I understand if you had to slow it down, but perhaps choosing a different clip would have been helpful.
Yeah... My vegas seriously crapped out on me during this project. Any velocity (speed of clip) that was above 110 or below -80 would not render on anything above quality preveiw D: (meaning i lost frame rate) So basically i had to render a HQ amv and a LQ amv and splice the clips together as a final product. And in some clips it really shows.... THo most ppl thought it was an effect so i was like "yeah ha haha haaa... effect... right! ^^" "
Yeah the voice clips were a pain in the behind to edit. ANd i too noticed the bg noise. I ain't really know what to do about that and i ran very close to the original deadline of the vid so their wasn't much time for me to experiment for corrections. =(
It's a great AMV with good music and almost-perfect sync with the clips. I've seen the one that had one, though I personally think that this one should have won. Of course, though, I'm bias, and I'M ALLOWED TO BE. *Nods* I think you're improving indefinitely, and if you keep working at it, you'll make even greater AMVs, and anything else you have in mind!

Yo, let me get an honest opinion! This is the vid that beat me out for best action. Type in the search engine "My Otome AMV jacon" it should be the 1st vid with a length of 3 mins and 33 seconds... What am I lacking I wanna know how to improve.
I don't know why that one won and this one didn't. The only points I could have seen were that you used medium-long audio clips that didn't sync directly with the music, though they synced perfectly with the theme and the amv.

a bit harsh there, they tried really hard to keep Digisoul, but the company who allow dubs (who live in JAPAN) did not allow it, same with the dubbed names, particularly Ikuto and Yatagaramon they tried really hard to allow them, but they said no. Atleast they allowed a lot of the darker stuff to remain, the only thing I can think of in the past even coming close to it was Ken's brother's death.
