I've just got back in the saddle after 20 years of laziness. I'm a little shaky, and feel very top-heavy. I guess it's because I'm 6'4" and a lot fatter than I was 20 years ago, plus bikes are a lot lighter nowadays.
If I can survive for a couple of weeks I look forward to the weight coming off :)

Basically all you need to ride a bike is Courage and you have to Want to Learn if you just say or think its hard its not its very easy you have to put your mind to it for a beginner and just keep trying NEVER GIVE UP! You can do it!

@guzmancho I am 19 and I can't ride a bike. My friend is going to try to teach me tomorrow so that I can go night cycling with them.

Gosh, I'm 13 and I don't know how to ride a frigging bike. I feel like a loser. I run all the time, but I don't know how to ride a bike. I just never learned....

@KatyRocksYo same here im 16 and never got the chance to know. im afraid of telling my friend cause wen we go on our walks, he always takes his bike and i just say im not a bike person.

@martin43427 really?? my reason was because my parents were TOO overprotective and thought i would die or something if i even touched a two wheeler >.> it was stupid. until this day i dont even know.

@KatyRocksYo well, two reasons. 1: my parents never bothered to help me ride a bike, i have pics on riding a tricycle wen i was young, but never learned to ride a bike. i mean i won a bike in a contest and tried 2 times but ended up falling on either my face or balls. plus my parents divorced wen i was 5 and my dad ended up being an alcoholic and my mom never had time to help me with work. 2: i have cyclophobia im afraid that wen i get on it i have no sense of control and cant take that chance.

@gamemaster905 lol same here im 13 and never learned how to ride a bike. my parents and siblings never taught they just said to me when i asked them when i was like 7 they said you're big enough to know how to ride a bike you have to do it yourself.
