@JustinTinaFey personally i think you can.if i said shawshank redemption is better than big mommas house,you would say of course.obviously the difference is nowhere near that large here but in my opinion there was enough to say sorkin is better(fey is doing average movies now and bossypants wasnt great for me and probably for men in general).youre blantently a huge tina fey fan(as am i) but i hope you can see where im coming from.

@ihnlChiv I see where you are coming from and personally I think as a whole Sorkin is a better writer but I think their areas of focus are two completly different things. Sorkin is a beautiful writer with depth and Tina Fey is a comedic genius, her work nevers falls into the ugly sterotype of sitcom writing. 30 Rock is an excellent series and rightfully deserved to win in its first three years. I just think Tina Fey lacks depth in her writing, but we also havent seen her do anything like that.

@ihnlChiv Yeah, damn 500 character max. I liked it a lot, it certainly was geared towards women, but I guess thats the perks of growing up with 4 sisters abilitiy to find it funny. It was a quick and easy read and it made me laugh. Social Network is Sorkins Masterpiece and thats saying a lot considering his portoflio of work. The only think I didn't care for that was sorkin was Studio 60.

@JustinTinaFey bossypants was summed up for me when she wrote "if youre a man and youre reading this,thank you" but for the females it was a speech.30 rock has never lived up to season 1 & 2.im on finishing season 3 of west wing now.one thing to say for both writers,nothing major happens to their characters(so far).lemon wanted a baby then she changes her mind and nobodies situation in ww has changed.cj's love interest(the journalist) has disapeared.thats a major flaw for both.

@ihnlChiv Tina Fey basically writes for women and gay men, and being niether of those I've just come to accept it. I still find her hysterical and funny in almost everything she does but I agree 100% with on the loose ends. If I tried to count the abandoned plotlines on 30Rock I'd go insane, which is rather frustrating. Same with WW but with WW they tend to introduce these amazing characters we love then never see again. I dont wanna give it away since your on 3. and S1,2 of 30 are the best.

@JustinTinaFey yeah,i heard that sorkin left ww after s4.i have a little more credit for ww because i think i would never be able to write something like that but 30 rock less so.im slightly shocked fey writes for gays+women because she is kind of a sex symbol now.i know she is super busy but 30 rock doesnt come back until 2012 so i hope she writes a movie and not another book but i think the book is more profitable and better for publicity.

@ihnlChiv Yeah Sorkin leave safter 4 but the show stays at the same quality throughout. I actually perfer Character Study shows ie: The Wire, The Sopranos, and Arrested Developement (Tho AD is like a Character Study mixed with a situation comedy) than I perfer Situation Drama or Comedy. WW is certainly a Situation Drama with some character development but very slow. :/ With 30 Rock ending I think we will see Tina Fey focus on bigger things, maybe even win an oscar. tina is such a MILF.

@JustinTinaFey no chance on the oscar.comedies rarely win and i dont think she has the talent to win an oscar for acting(unless supporting actor like robin williams in good will hunting but the casting there was inspired).i think most educated people prefer character studies.you should watch community.its quickly becoming my favourite comedy overtaking 30 rock.ad was amazing and cant wait for the movie.the wire is hands down the best show ever made.i doubt anything will come close imo.
