I really like the one with the "propeller" style blade (presumably the Freshn'd-Aire unit), although it looks like the Vorty and Galaxy have some of the smoothest/best bearings of the bunch.
@uxwbill Yep that's the Freshy, I have added no oil to it but it's slated to go to another collector. Well lubed they can take like 2 minutes to stop after being shut off
I have a Tatung fan and the gearbox seems to be fairly gummed up so that the rotor won't turn freely. I've noticed there are plastic gears inside the gearbox so what could i use as a solvent that wouldn't melt the plastic gears and inner parts?
Hmm....I'd have to say the Vortalex is....the Freshy is actually the only one not running on low....it needs oil and at the moment it does maybe 100-200 rpms on low when it should be doing 800

my 18" freshy is slightly more powerfull than my vorty. well after all my freshy is the bigger fan.
