Here's why zombies can't use weapons, once the human has been infected it's brain is taken over by the virus. Then it becomes a zombie. Now the zombie's brain can only carry out simple tasks like walk, run, and eat flesh. So a zombie can't use a weapon because it can't think , it can only walk, run, and eat flesh.

You said in your video that you didn;t like it as much because the zombies didnt die from a head shot. I can agree and in the first round they do only take one head shot and with certain guns they take one head shot. I think they do this just to make it more difficult cause i think itd be a little to easy to survive in the game because in COD zombies you never win thats the point just to see how long you can make it. If they want a successful game make a GTA style game with zombies boom done.

I agree you have a good list going. However the call of duty zombies games i think has the right idea going. If only they can run with it and make it into a full game. Although it is a different style of zombie game while most would like a free roming around game which is awesome. I also enjoy the arcade style where the level defines where you have to go. COD is a good co op for zombies i believe because you can stick togeher and fight it out or spread your forces out around the map.

But couldn't it be possible that there are different types of viruses? for example one that eliminates all brain functions that make us humans and persons and leaves the basic caveman instincts to survive therefore eating humans. One other possibility would be that the other virus attacks some part of the brains and leave the area for development untouched so that they can use weapons?

actually george a romero said he dosent think the monsters he made in night of the living dead were zombies he called them ghouls. he said that he didnt make his rules of zombies till dawn of the dead so they dont apply to night. So in a way its not a zombie movie. Its counted as one but he said its not.so just to be clear

actually being more human then some new green fleshy species. they show signs of humanity, mainly when idle, as the disease is slowly killing them, not killing them then bringing them bqck to life as one of them. i would think that a zombie in real life would be able to run and climb up objects and punch and kick, because most things will kill prey before eating, etc. then biting it repeatedly. left4dead just seems the most realistic

in left4dead, the technical term for the enemies are zombies. however, they are actually more or less infected people, sort of being reverted to a primitave state. the green flu, left 4 dead disease, is based off the rabies, and i think if anything this woule b more realistic then slow moving zombies with arms stretched out wanting to eat brains.

Not to be a dick but to be honest RE5 has to have zombies or whatever they are to die quicker because there is a lot of 'things/zombies' in the game,it is to hard to constantly do little damage to the 'zombie/thong',and kill it with a 1 head shot,don't get me wrong,I agree there needs to be a zombie game where there is little damage done by chest shots, but standard effects of shots to the knees an central nervous system,if you reply I would be glad to discuss it with you, cuz im outa characters

The "zombies" in Left4Dead 1 & 2 and Dead Island aren't really zombies they are infected. Pretty much think of humans with rabies and put them in a video game. The zombie genre is slowly moving towards infection type zombies rather than the original Romero zombies. The ones in L4D and Dead Island die from getting limbs shot off because they aren't dead, and things that aren't dead have to have blood to live on therefore shooting off ones leg would probably kill them due to blood loss.
