  • Rightclick and press Export. I use that. :)

  • Always hated that lightroom doens't have a button on develop for exporting. I never use those 3-key shortcuts.

  • whats best for sharing photos - Adobe RGB or sRGB ???

  • pickles, pixels hah

  • As always great video Adam very informative. Could you by chance explain your settings for exporting to print?

  • @mwalsh23 I actually export to Photoshop a good bit of the time depending on the size. I should do a vid on that, thanks!

  • can you make a "whats in my bag" video ? :)))

  • I'm having trouble understanding what's fit for printing and what isn't.

Would it be okay to send some shots to your email and hear from you about which ones would be okay to print and which ones wouldn't?

  • @Komodojou full-resolution JPEG or TIFF would be ideal for printing

  • Longest edge would be the longest edge whether horizontal or vertical. The shorter edge is just resized to keep ratio with the longer.

  • I prefer doing watermarking in photoshop to manually resize and specifically put it in certain places lightroom doesn't allow.

  • The only thing you didn't get into was what "longest edge" means as opposed to those other options. In this case, does "longest edge" mean top to bottom? Thanks.

  • Hey Adam, Do you import all of your images on your computers hard drive? If so, why not just use an external to save that space? I recently switched to that method and it works just fine! Thanks again for the great videos even though I use Aperture 3!!!!!!!!

  • Adam can you give me a pickle?

  • iPhone 4 has more DPI than 72... I think its like 200 or so...

  • Good stuff..

  • Is the color profile not important if you use ProPhoto RGB in Lightroom and export for the internet?

  • Very useful... keep it up!!!

  • Divide your pixel width with your actually width of the screen in inch and you see that those 72 DPI is out of date. It's a really old standard from the 80's and you can just ignore those settings, it won't matter at all.

  • Cheers Adam

  • When you export a bunch of images to your hard drive aren't you just using up space?! Or is it just a temporary thing so you can organize your flickr pics before posting them.

  • @bunglebear85 yes and yes ;)

  • ur hair looks different

  • Hey Adam,

great video and very useful tips!

what settings do you use for printing?

  • HEY THERE....now that i got your attention, you should really make a "day in life" video to show us how its like to be a photographer... : )))

  • very informative and funny!... thanks Adam...

  • I was reading somewhere that photoshop quality settings like 7 out of 10 was worse than 6 out of 10, but 8 or 9 was fine. I don't know if this applies to lightroom.

Like it changes the method to preserve file size and ends up actually looking worse. It was up on Petapixel

  • @JHVH1 Hmm. Interesting. I export at 100 percent quality just to be sure!

  • How'd you get that custom lightroom header and cold scheme?

  • @tgraham83 i did a video on that - you can find it on my channel, thanks.

  • @AdamLernerPhoto What font did you use? just curious...

  • Hi Adam, create vid.

What would be the dpi for printing?

  • @TomRobertsImages typically 300

  • @AdamLernerPhoto Thanks pal.

  • nice hair Adam

  • Any chance at seeing what your other preset settings are?

  • ... and I still like the music from the intro&outro, thanks Adam very useful info

  • Jingle bells!
