The only thing you didn't get into was what "longest edge" means as opposed to those other options. In this case, does "longest edge" mean top to bottom? Thanks.
Hey Adam, Do you import all of your images on your computers hard drive? If so, why not just use an external to save that space? I recently switched to that method and it works just fine! Thanks again for the great videos even though I use Aperture 3!!!!!!!!
Divide your pixel width with your actually width of the screen in inch and you see that those 72 DPI is out of date. It's a really old standard from the 80's and you can just ignore those settings, it won't matter at all.
When you export a bunch of images to your hard drive aren't you just using up space?! Or is it just a temporary thing so you can organize your flickr pics before posting them.
I was reading somewhere that photoshop quality settings like 7 out of 10 was worse than 6 out of 10, but 8 or 9 was fine. I don't know if this applies to lightroom.
Like it changes the method to preserve file size and ends up actually looking worse. It was up on Petapixel
Rightclick and press Export. I use that. :)

Always hated that lightroom doens't have a button on develop for exporting. I never use those 3-key shortcuts.

@mwalsh23 I actually export to Photoshop a good bit of the time depending on the size. I should do a vid on that, thanks!

can you make a "whats in my bag" video ? :)))
IRondestvedt 5 months ago
I'm having trouble understanding what's fit for printing and what isn't.
Would it be okay to send some shots to your email and hear from you about which ones would be okay to print and which ones wouldn't?
Komodojou 5 months ago
@Komodojou full-resolution JPEG or TIFF would be ideal for printing

What don't you explain about the color space?
antonioreyes1987 5 months ago
Longest edge would be the longest edge whether horizontal or vertical. The shorter edge is just resized to keep ratio with the longer.
Uscbryan949 5 months ago
I prefer doing watermarking in photoshop to manually resize and specifically put it in certain places lightroom doesn't allow.
