Patience - I have been watching your videos lately. You look wonderful and have really inspired me to move forward with having a weight loss procedure. I'm considering lap band and the sleeve. Do you have any advice or regret about doing the lap band instead of the sleeve surgery?

@laurasturdivant Thank you so much..I dont have any regrets about my surgery..But everyone is different. At the time my insurance would not pay for the sleeve, but i know i did not want gastric bypass. I have seen so many successful sleeve stories. I think it is a preference.Research and figure out the best option for you..Which ever you choose I am sure you can succeed at it.

Hello, I am new to your videos, but I must say they have helped me out a lot! I am seriously considering getting the lapband surgery and my Dr. has already told me my insurance will pay for it. I am 5'2 and weigh about 250lbs. My main concerns are the surgery itself, scars, loose skin, and losing all my curves and being saggy. I really want to lose the weight though, and I have tried EVERYTHING else so this is pretty much my last result. So, looking back on it now, would you recommend it?

oh yes that swelling will be gone like you cannot even imagine! you will be tight all the way up because you had the fleur de lis-- you just wait a couple of months- you will be surprised all over again! I have started crunches this week again at Body Pump-- and the muscle memory is really there!

i do know how much the support recieved during surgery and post plastics meant to me too- and now I am going in for round #2! lol-- funny I thought- nope- not anytime soon- but now....2.5 months out- I think I am ready for the tweaking and the arms! I slept alot- it is good!!! it is a big learning experience the whole deal-- you look wonderful and trust me-- it gets better and better! energy comes back gradually- but the more you rest and care for yourself the faster you will heal!

You look simply marvelous. It took me about a week and a half to lay straight, but I was walking a lil more upright after a week for sure. You will know when you can. Once I had my drains removed it was all gravy from there. I hear you hate that binder, but to me it felt like jelly without it for weeks. Don't worry about the rolls they will go down especially if you keep up the workouts.
