well I think the Spore Gameplay is a bit better than Sims. Of course in Spore you are playing aliens, but the graphics are as good as Sims, you can customize everything (except plants) and it's not laggy (I just have Sims 2 and a good pc but if I build a large house ingame it is soooo slow) Can anyone tell me if Sims 3 is laggy too, because may I'll buy it.

I make the most depraved sims that live in dire enviorments. They never own a bed or even a chair they can sleep in, my sims don't sleep they stay up on caffiene because its there only alternative to sleeping on the floor and they choose to drink caffiene than crash on floor. The only entertainment they get is looking at bad posters. why buy a shower when they can take a whores bath in the sink.. stove? no need for that either. now it looks with 3 i can make them look as ugly as they act

I made a few fat sims in the sims 2 with out custom meshes. It was a bit hard cuz not only did you have to try and match the fatness of the face with the body but you had to pick clothing that also made him look fatter. This game looks like it will be easier to make a fat sim but her face didn't change after loosing the weight...

There should be a mac version if not at launch then sometime down the line. Also the online part is so you can download other peoples creations and offical objects but it isn't like the sims online its just like sims 2 but the requirements to run it are higher then 2

The console versions of the Sims are always awful. I rented them for muliple consoles and always prefer the PC editions. As long as your computer can run it, do yourself a favor and buy the PC version.

Also, on the PC you have all the custom content and modifications that are made by anyone willing to learn modeling.

what i think is bad about this game is the graphics. EA haas a lot of games with verry much better Graphics then the sims. Why not use the same codes/Tecnoligy/Whatever you're using to get god graphics, but in big games like The sims, instead of like in those shitty ones like the one with Jack Black.

The graphics are not bad. You try to create an open sandbox with million polygons, trying to optimize it, and to make it playable for most computers. Oh, EA doesn't make the game, it publishes it.

I haven't played it yet but from the feedback and images shown, it really is lacking in many departments. There are many bugs still in the game and some new mechanics that people find unfair, as well as the whole Bodyshop only currently being available to TSR but...I think in time, it will get better, with people making hacks and stuff to balance out the bugs. But as it stands, it is far below Sims 2.
