  • @needstoregister LOL.

I love this movie. When Joel tells her, "Just do me a favor."

Why does she say, "Anything cookie?"

  • fuck you tom cruise. however. on this movie i give you a pass.

  • wish this song would never end

  • cool song

  • this song is a true escape from reality into another dimension

  • Ah, the glory days of the DX-7. The 80's were awesome.

  • This is so calming.I can't stop replaying it. <3

  • This movie made kinky cool to a generation growing up in the 80's. TD's best.

  • seven people were late for their SATs

  • @ShannonFAVsongPG

7 peoples love jsutin bieber ^^

  • The feeling when I listen to this song is unbelievable.. Its like I drift into a perfect, relaxing world...

  • every time i hear it,expecially at night,i want to have a drink and smoke, looking at the sunset!!and the best thing is that i live in greece, imagine santorini and this song!!!!!!i wish i was a teenager again!!!!

  • this is too much like steve reich

  • how come they don't make music like this anymore? the 80's really were the best times..

  • @assais u said it mann.....they really don't make music like this anymore. 90s were still good too. but the 2000s just sucked when it comes to music.

  • @beyondbelieffan when it comes to everything

  • @305MANKILLA okay yes you're right

  • I've had this song on repeat for the past 48 hours

  • me too!i cant stop hearing it!!!!!!

  • So sensual.

  • Sorry, your little on screen text for "more movie soundtracks" meant I could not link to this publicly.

  • THATS REAL>AWESOME COUPLE>AWESOME PLACE> AWESOME IDEA.

  • One of the best songs of all time

  • Who the hell disliked this???

  • This sounds just like "Running out of Time" from the Miracle Mile soundtrack. Tangerine Dream rules!!

  • Rebecca de Mournay: Wow! What a good movie and a splendid soundtrack!

  • reminds me a lot of mass effect

  • @Druscaelan im curious, how come? The music in mass effect is alot like this?

  • a tiny portion of this track can be heard in the movie Drive. nice echo.

  • @leyoni I THOUGHT I HEARD IT IN THAT MOVIE.

  • "The dream is always the same"

  • I love music that makes me travel inside....

  • Amazing...One of my all time fav tunes!!!

  • tangerine dream ripping off steve reich right here

  • @ochrekiosk Oh god, someone is still alive out there.

  • @ochrekiosk It is well documented that Reich was an influence.. the rhythmic arpeggios and short sequences have been a mainstay of TD tracks since 1970 though, so its harsh to say that this track has been "ripped off".. otherwise we would have to say the same about virtually all musical genres Blues to rock'n'roll to heavy metal to punk..

  • @TheComputec Point taken about the use of rhythm by TD, but this track really is remarkably like Reich's Music for 18 Musicians. One of the sections of Logos owes a lot to Reich as well - as far as I know he hasn't found that one yet. It's still a beautifully made piece, but some acknowledgement would have been preferable.

  • @ochrekiosk what tune in specific? I really want to know!

  • 5 ppl r frigid

  • Awe, memories.......

  • I was about 16 when I saw this flick, and I still say that RDM and the shower girl were two of the hottest women of the 80's. Incredible in their own way

  • One of the hottest sex scenes ever. I realised 2 things when I saw this at the precious age of 13. 1.) All future girlfriends would wear skimpy summer dresses and heels. 2.) Sex up against a wall or standing up was the best.

  • @allbiznessboxing very poetic.

  • I didn't see the move in the theatre either because I was 12. I saw it about 2 years later on a disc machine at my best friend's house. I adore Tangerine Dream because of this movie. I also loved the way the cinematography of this film. It was my first introduction to TD, to sex and to Tom Cruise. Blew. My. Mind.

  • the movie was ok. nothing more.

but this track and the love scene in the train was so intense and amazing tho

  • 4 people are still being chased by Guido the killer pimp

  • sometimes, you just got to say "What the f***."

  • hear global communication 5:23.is it the same?

  • Tom Cruise was a pretty hot little boy..love the fringe..he can blow my leaves anytime

  • this is the cave music for donkey kong 3

  • is this adapted from eminence front by the who ?

  • You know every person has a song or songs that defines a piece of their lives. This song and that movie define a huge part of my life. When I heard this and saw the scene of Risky Business with it playing, changed the way I see film, hear music and visualize things! I know most on here are too young to remember this movie and haven't paid much attention to it, but if you were young or old when this movie came out, you know how creative and life changing it was!

  • @lamareaton Yes, I know exactly what you mean...

  • @lamareaton I agree with you I was 11 years old in 1983 I didnt see the movie however untill I was like 12 when it came on HBO anyway since then paticularly the music I feel is the soundtrack to my life. I often delve deep into thought when I hear this music. I was so young, innocent in heart, had my whole future in my grasp, this song takes me to that place when I still had dreams that were possible.... Then I was awaken by my own screams

  • My heart always beats very fast as soon as I hear the opening to this.

  • I was in HS when I saw this movie, the music deeply affected me. It just was so very good at creating a mood/sentiment, and of course it was fantasy, but man I never saw women the same way. I realized that girls are as sexual as I was, but in a different and more subtle way. And it was pretty much true....

  • 4 ppl r donkeys

  • love it! still makes the hairs on the back of my neck stand

  • Cool, Sexy, Beautifull, Trippy, Soothing, and simply Emotional!

  • all i can say is this song still gives me chills thats what happens when i like something

  • Ah, to be that young and living out a sexual fantasy. "Time of your life". Don't miss your opportunity, you may not get another!

  • best cut to a scene in a movie of all time. FACT!!!!

  • Eminem is M&M, a retread 2Pac wannabe that loads everything he does with nearly the same rhythmic hooks and gimmicks.

Sorry my friend but on a bad day, without the shock marketing....even Ice cube was more original.

  • Like ronniedoll said: PLEASE BRING BACK THE 80'S

  • Mesmerizing, hipnotic music!

  • Fast forward 30 years and you get copy cat crooners , entire melodies ripped off from old songs and fake rap with made up lyrics in weak effort rhyme.

No real invention, it’s simply good marketing of ultra controlled, manufactured cheap gimmicks that are passed off as the real thing.

Nothing personal but lets be honest, Lady Gaga, Justin Berber and the M&M’s of today are what Dominos is to pizza.

  • "My name is Joel Goodson... I deal in human fulfilment. I grossed over $8.000 in one night.... Time of your life huh kid? ;)"

  • @JordanEmonds they should of added, " I even shot my load for free "

  • @15chad15 Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha LOL

  • This music sounds exactly like Steve Reich's Music for 18 Musicians from the mid 70s...

  • sounds like pjanoo ( erick pridz )

  • @lukas36151 yea tangerine dream must have stolen it from eric

  • @lukas36151 no pjanoo sounds like this. great tracks the both of them!!!!

  • Couple of pervs!...

  • Thanks Lana.. Wet dream memories..lol

  • This song is so relaxing and exhilarating at the same time. Awesome song.

  • Sublime sound!

  • Todays generation think looking like a gangstas wearing shades and 'rapping' is where its at. They have ABSOLUTELY NO IDEA about music. When this was being performed they were sucking on mommas tits. This is what you call originaity, skill, and real music.

Not some facile black guys in hoodies giving it the finger thinking..... they is hard....or being a slaphead like that pillock Lee Nelson.

  • @Ollfie - Hey buddy, cheers from 15 years in the future. I know things were tough back then, but way up here in 2010 all those gangsta rappers are old and fat and producing some pretty good pop music. You're going to dig it.

  • @einexile dude ur a fag

  • what made 80s films so damn good????? NO CGI !!!! actors and actresses had to ACT !! they had to make the roles believable by goood acting and a good story line. How do you tell Movie makers to cut the shit. I guess you cant. thank god we have a handfull of great 80s films.

  • Great track. So sums up those innocoent nights looking for adventure in a beckoning world. If you lived the 80's at that certain age.... you are a very lucky person.

  • Has anyone ever noticed that in the mid-nineties, Global Communication did two tunes on their album 76:14, that are the SAME as this tune (8:07 and 5:23). I've never seen any credit given to Tangerine Dream for this.

  • @timbretronics yes I noticed it too. When I first heard 5:23 & 8:07 they very much reminded me of this. But listening to them side by side, I can't believe just how alike they are! Wiki notes that TD's influence can be heard in work of other ambient artists such as Global Comm, but that's a gross understatement! I often hear similar sounding tracks these days - no surprise I guess, after all it is THE quintessential 80s film score. But in this instance, there must be a legal case for plagiarism.

  • @timbretronics Yeah I have the album. Very similar interpretation although I love both versions. Your right though they should have at least given credit where it was due. I think it was meant to be an homage to Tangerine Dream as I see 8:07 as more of a remix than anything else.

  • love it!

  • Franke, Froese and Schmoelling...best TD lineup!

  • Great music. Risky Business is one of my favorite movies. Bring back the 80's.

    Listen to a video of Vision Quest....great 80's movie...Tangerine Dream and Journey...so 80's................

  • From the 1983 movie Risky Business.........remembering this movie with a smile on my face.....

  • I hardly lived through the 80's since i was just a kid the '90 imo is the best decade

  • in love with feeling young!!!!

  • I like this kind of music. Way before my time but...new in a way so diffrent.

  • it makes me wanna cry to know that i'll never see my beloved 80's again. i mean that.

  • Man if only my first time was to this music...*sigh

  • This soundtrack is among the best in film history

  • 80's rock, today's "women" are all fat asses with tramp stamps and penis envy, worthless whores

  • @ZXROMEO and all the men love it so it seems...

  • this is great movie ! and great soundtrack :)

  • Every now and then say, "What the fuck." "What the fuck" gives you freedom. Freedom brings opportunity. Opportunity makes your future.

  • 70s the lost decade 80 reburth 90s the rewards 2000 decadence 2010 lost again 2020 reburth those who never listen are doomed to rinse repeat.

  • Boomm it remind me of the 90's amazing song

  • 90s?

    80s, my friend, 80s...

  • @KaitainCPS : Well... Tangerine Dream was ahead of the curve in electronic music.... as a friend said, there probably would not have been a Basic Channel without Tangerine Dream.

  • @ExosiusWoolley Let's not forget Kraftwerk.

  • @Mrster Kraftwerk can be compared somehow in the early years of both, but really darker TD with Electronic Meditation. But Just to say that check at all TD soundtracks, are great ! (in decreasing order): Thief, Risky Business, Miracle Mile, The Park is Mine, Firestarter, Three O'clock High, Flashpoint, The Keep, Legend, Wavelenght, Heartbreakers, Dead Solid Perfect, and others more !!!

  • @desdanova3

Yeah, I've only heard earlier TD songs, and a few of them. I'll look into it!

  • @Mrster

Give their album "Exit" a listen :)

  • I'm Tom's fan & I just wonder why he is not getting something similar like this any more???? This is a really classic ti me til now..

  • I love this tune. It sounds no way near as old as it is. It still sounds great.

  • You and me both!!

  • Risky Businnes - 1983 year.

  • one could argue that chicane was inspired by this music...

or is it just me??? i mean it sounds alarmingly similar to chicane's album from 2000

  • Luv this music

  • Some music is just ageless!

  • sometimes ya just gotta say...what the fuck

  • You (deliciossexquisite) just said the correct definition for this song. So ethereal.....Tangerine Dream Best Group for making soundtracks. I also loved "Legend"

  • this song reminds me of all the women I was supposed to grow up and bang......but never did. damn you 90's!

  • @glennwith2nns totally agree. bang em now though. : )

  • is this song on gta 4?

  • I think the only Tangerine Dream song on GTA 4 is Remote Viewing, which is also a great track.

  • no that one is 8 07 by global communication, very similar =)

  • this is beautiful

  • This is really one of the best pieces of instrumental works I have ever had the good fortune to listen to. It has been years since I've heard it. The film is a classic which has aged well and this piece of music matches it. You could use this music today in any reality tv programme or documentary and today's young generation would think that this music is brand new....Beautiful...

  • i want to thank you

  • @Scallopman1973 I love this post.

  • i should put this in my iPod and use it to fall asleep to

and i don't mean that in a negative way

i mean it is so soft romantic and haunting

    its ethereal

    i love it

  • totally, it's the #1 most played song on my ipod for that very reason.

  • that's awesome, sweet dreams :-)

  • this song and the moment made this movie same with his dream when she walks in and the windows open with the fall leaves blowing in the house..they don't make movies like this anymore

  • i agree, I was totally mesmerized by the movie, the music, rebecca, ...

  • 80s music was amazing truly amazing! As for most of todays music...no comment!

  • Sexiest love scene of all time...

  • Yes, they were truly amazing. What a beautifully fimed sequence of the passion and rapture spawned by a mutual attraction and participation in some of the best a man and a woman offer together.

  • shut up

  • I'm ready guys...if anyones on the Piccadilly tube line round 8ish, any weekday....;)

  • Classic film, Classic soundtrack.

  • One of the best 80's films. Awesome!!

  • 80s music is the best.

  • Would somebody PLEASE bring back the 80's!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @ronniedoll
