What is the purpose of a cowash vs a shampoo wash

@Prytieyes Co-washing is washing with a conditioner and shampoo is washing with a shampoo. If a person has to wash or wet there hair everyday it's best to wash with a conditioner as shampoo can be very drying to the hair.
