Great early Doobies song, fantastic artwork. Where did you get the photos from, beside the one of your daughter? Good job. They ain't related, but they Doobie Brothers!
Great track. How sad that everyone reflects how it evokes memories of the best times of their lives. What went wrong (kids, mortgage, work?). Makes me think that life is for living, all the time. Slow down world, I want to get off at the next stop.
I haven't heard this for years absolutely love it learnt how to play guitar with this. Just saw them play in Melbourne at the Palais, simply brilliant. I reckon in terms of energy and value for money they leave the Eagles behind. Their songs have of an up tempo party type of feel. Even my 17 year old son thought they were awesome.

creo que nuestra generación puede estar más que satisfecha con la música de estos monstruos. extraordinarios, nunca antes un grupo, me habia hecho sentir la musica como the doobie brothers
Listen To That BassLine by Tiran Porter! The Doobie Brothers became so incred- ibly good when he replaced Dave Shogren on bass just in time for '72's Toulouse Street. My iPod nano has 919 songs-55 of them are by this band, IMHO thee best
Such a great song..such a lovely lovely production..you know I am always hoping and praying good things for you, birthday sister..think of you often..hope you are thriving alive and weLL..breathe in, sister..
extraordinarios como siempre, es mi conjunto favorito desde siempre (1973)desde listen to the music, sensacionales guitarras, me ponen siempre la piel de gallina, lastima que no hallan actuado en españa, si no, los hubiera ido a ver, seguro.
song reminds me of the Spring, 1974...10th grade riding down at 3AM Sundays to Galveston with some friends in a VW bug right after the midnite movie at the Alabama Theater in Houston...good times.
SacredMojo, I found you through your lovely comments on HerFieldDay's videos. I absolutely love this video...the water, the dolphins...Thank you for creating and sharing!
fantastic.....thanks for this...a real work of art...please do some more!!.(idjayed in a bar in benidorm 75...used to play it for me ...and got away with it!...
You did an incredible job and the picture that you chose are perfect. I'm amazed and almost embarrassed that I have never heard these DB songs. I thought I had everything they ever did. I've been a big fan since the beginning. Coincidentally, I share the name of the DB leader (Tom Johnston) and almost the same age but I loved their music before I even knew that. Great job!
It must be 20 year's since i've heard this song ~ it's great to hear it again, and with a such a beautiful, well made video ~ Very well done, and all the best from England..... Geoff
@williheckaslike Hey Geoff from England, also the country of my birth, these guys are just too amazing..................a rare collection of extremely talented musicians............take care Mate!!
@williheckaslike I had never heard this track prior to finding it on YouTube..............amazing, watch it time and time again...............these guys are more amazing than I had ever imagined.................
I love this a little more with each viewing...a masterpiece donna...giving reverence to this great Doobies Classic..what a song..I spent Saturday morning down by the sea and I thought of you..the clear aqua green salty sea..we were mermaids once again...my sister and me...and, the porpoise were there..for a moment we were one with the sea..think of you everyday..I have become paranoid inbox speaking...so I created this channel for you to come visit when you need a front row seat..sherry
Donna - yes, I did see your young daughter at the end of your great vid - loved that! Is there anything as wonderful as a child watching water - I don't think so! Just the other day while walking, our neighbour's 4-year-old daughter was mesmerized by a fast flowing creek. Ah, water! My Aquarian soul needs that blue bounty around me, too. :)
Wonderful! Lovely! Just a great, creative work of art, D. As a son of the sea I can feel your ties to the water. This was not just a vid but a journey.
Wow Donna..what a beautiful magical journey through your vision for "Daughters of the Sea"...Beautiful images and isn't great when a family photo just seems to fit right in..What a doll she was! I can see I have aLoT to learn..I appreciate you sharing your heart and talent with me, sis...big time! JUST BEAUTIFUL♥
Magical Donna! Love the images you come up with, wow. Back around '75-'79 I got out to see the Doobies 3 times and they always put on a great show. Love the songs here, "Vices" is a great album.

Correction: Flying Cloud was written by Tiran Porter, their long standing Afro-American (virtuoso) Bassist.
