This game is best described as the over the top action and genocidal fun of classic shooters like doom, serious Sam, painkiller, half life, and duke nukem (except duke nukem forever) filtered through the gritty realism of modern shooters. The pure awesomeness of classic shooters is in bulletstorm but it's all ruined by modern elements like being cover based because of regenerating health etc. Three words FUCK THIS GAME.

I think, to me at least, this was game of the year 2011. I really, really enjoyed playing this. Saints Row The Third, Skyrim, Rage, Batman: Arkham City etc. are really good games, but Bulletstorm had that little extra for me. I loved the mechanics, the graphics, the skill-points system and the city was awesome.

@IVANLULE There's one called "Anarchy master" where you have to get 50,000 points as a team in Anarchy mode. This is hard to get because the team you usually will end up in consists of You (the normal player), some kid who can't play, an asshole, and a Troll.

Took me a while to get...

(Tip: Use the flail gun on enemies and then kick them into environmental hazards.

But its not just "Throw him off a cliff here, kick into spikes" it actually has a plot behind WHY you need to do it. If you have a imagination and a sick mind, then this game is great. At no point was gore its highlight of the game.
