@catothewiser If you do this right it'll just feel like a feather touching your arm. The thing is, at the top of the swing it's your arm that's moving around the kettlebell, not the other way around. The kettlebell is pretty much hanging still in the air at the top so it doesn't smash into your forearm. You can still smash your forearm into the kettlebell but I doubt you'll break it that way.
@Doelloser - yes, I kinda gathered that. And I've tried it and can see that happening in the video. But I've tried it and just have mixed results right now. I've tried it with 10 pounders to be safe and I think it was harder than with the 25 lb one I tried afterwards. The heavier ones have enough of their own "substance" to do what you say. I just need to work on technique.
@catothewiser I've only tried it with a 16 kg (35 pound I believe?) kettlebell so I wouldn't know about a lighter kettlebell but yeah, I could see where a lighter bell lacks the mass to 'hang still in the air.' But it's a very technical move, just like pretty much all the explosive movements with kettlebells. I've learned a lot from watching the Enter The Kettlebell video. Perhaps you could give that a try.
I'm about 6'4" and swings and snatches with the KB seem to just work for me better than most movements. Still miles from this. You look about 6'6" ? You technique is spot-on.
excellent work bro!!! Now pick up some more weight and do it some more. I wanna see 32kg x 250 in 10 min

Anyone ever break their wrist doing such a movement? It seems unwise.

No way that bell is solid. It has to be hollow.
If it's solid iron, than that means that this man is also made of iron, but as far as I know, . . . that's impossible.
