  • democracy is going to ruin communisn wich i agree with the communist side

  • Of course he's speaking spanish. he's from Puerto Rico.

  • was Benicio really speaking Spanish in this or was it dubbed?

  • i think that che wasn't trying to say communism was better

i think he just wanted to free the poor from oppression and politics got in the way.

later on he became more politically involved.

  • Che’s “CRIMES” were:

~ Stopping American companies from owning 70 % of the arable land in Cuba

~ Teaching peasants to read, by bringing the Cuban literacy rate from 60 to 97 %

~ Having the 200 or so War Criminals who killed 20,000 Cubans for Batista shot against a wall

~ Fighting white mercenaries in the African Congo with an all black army

~ Speaking out against US and eventually USSR Imperialism while demanding that the poor of the world be allowed to live a life of dignity

  • @4Barbudos While Che is not my favourite Communist (I prefer Trotsky), Che is certainly a hero that I look up to. If my greatest achievements were as decent as his crimes, I would consider myself a good man.

  • @MexicanGnomes being a communist is a crime itself. You do not need to "wish" for anything.

  • @TsakirisAlexandros Your narrow-mindedness saddens me. How is a word a crime? "Communist" covers a broad range of political beliefs which tend to centre around the same principles as JESUS CHRIST.

  • @MexicanGnomes yeah but adding to the fact that they do not promote love between people and to help others... they oblige you to live the way they want.

I don't see people mass mving to Russia that is one of the richest countries in the world with all the mineral deposit in their hands, why... because the living standard is that of the communist one.

Everyone will give private property to the nation so it can do whatever they want with it...! How is this close to jesus seriously?

  • @TsakirisAlexandros Methinks you haven't read much authentic Communist literature or talked to many authentic commies. Reverse pretty much all of what you just said.

  • @MexicanGnomes I rephrase, mass immigration to Russian occurs everyday, in Cuba too. And people in china have the best living standard all thanks to communism.

    ...I apologize!!!

(There are people who actually believe in communist utopia, next thing is a muslim coming to tell me that Islam is religion of peace, oh wait,. they already do... we are doomed. Humanity will never evolve)

  • @MexicanGnomes it is politics that refuse political rights, private property and in the end of the day even human rights if you oppose them.

100% working Democracy is a million times better than 100% working communism. (I state 100% working because there is no real democracy or communism in any country of the world).

Communism is like 21st century Islam, democracy is like 21st century Christianity!

  • @TsakirisAlexandros 100% working communism would be more democratic than 100% working democracy. "Democracy" is built upon the class system which inevitably favours the higher classes over the lower ones. Communism, on the other hand, is without classes, opression, and discrimination by definition. 100% working Communism and 100% working democracy are essentially the same, assuming you take the corrupting elements out of democracy first.

    ps

not all islamics see it as being violent. judgemental

  • @MexicanGnomes "more democratic than democracy"...

you should reconsider your phrases, do you believe in democracy or communism? They are whole lot different things. Democracy come from Hellenic words "Δήμος + κράτος" which means that people rule the country. Communism is abolition of individuals and put into a stove where everyone is the "same" and a single government would take any action upon them based on politics of communism.

You sadly put communism above people.

  • @TsakirisAlexandros You should probably know by now that im talking about "COMMUNISM", not "the corrupted version of the transitional socialist stage in poor countries". Our aims actually seem to be more or less the same, we just use different words for it. Elimination of opression! Fair standard of living! POWER TO THE PEOPLE!

  • @MexicanGnomes So why not Democracy? Communism removes the right to own a place for you and your family. You belong to the state as a matter of fact.

If you talk about utopia then democracy is the higher end of the human rights. If you are naive enough to believe that a system will make earth heaven then why a political movement that is based on what you are NOT allowed to do instead of "you are allowed to do anything, unless you step on another man's rights"?

  • @TsakirisAlexandros Communism is actually STATELESS. And it's not actually democracy that is our opposite, it is CAPITALISM. We don't like division, greed, PEOPLE OPRESSING OTHERS, things like that. You really should stop using stalin as an example and read some Marx.

  • @TsakirisAlexandros Democracy eventually supports none but the majority and it will lead to the tyranny of majority over minority..

  • I wonder what the world socialist movement would be like if it had tilted towards China rather than the Soviet Union.

Che himself had deep reservations about the USSR. Does anyone know how he viewed Mao?

  • there is going to be a sequel called "Adolf"

  • @memohavok NO HAY QUE RECURRIR A LA VIOLENCIA PARA LOGRAR ALGO SINO A LA UNION Y AL INSISTIR SOLAMENTE ASI SE PUEDE LOGRAR LA VIOLENCIA TRAE MAS VIOLENCIA ..EL CHE TUVO SU PARTE OSCURA PERO TMB TUVO BUENOS OBJETIVOS NO COMO LA LACRA DE FIDEL CASTRO Q UN MISERABLE ..Y LOS RICOS QUE SEAN FELICES CON SU DINERO NO ME IMPORTA MIENTRAS A MI NO ME FALTE EL PAN Y MIENTRAS NO SE CAGEN EN MI PARA VOLVERSE RICOS CADA UNO CON SUS COSAS

  • Long? How long is the film? I would care if it went for a whole day..... Oh Gosh Benicio when you talk in you're own language and have that accent it flipping turns me on!!!!

  • Whatever your view on Che is, keep to yourself, 'cause I don't give a fuck. Benicio Del Toro did a phenomenal job in this movie.

  • the first part was just amazing, no other word to describe a biopic like this one...the second was great as well, steven soderberg did a fuckin awesome job

  • love revolt!!!!!

  • @wingchunstreetfight QUE PUTA PARTE NO ENTIENDES CABRON QUE USA BLOQUEA CUALQUIER TRATO ECONOMICO DE CUALQUIER PAIS QUE QUIERA TENER COMERCIO CON CUBA, PINCHE GRINGO PENDEJO, JUST KEEP LOOKING AVATAR, GOOD MOVIES FOR IDIOTS LIKE YOU

  • A Long Film But Worth Every Minute

    5 Stars!

  • Really did enjoy this film. Cant wait for the Criterion edition blu ray release in Jan.

  • Che Guevara embodies the ideals of justice, equality, freedom, truth, and bravery.

He is a martyr to the cause of world liberation from the shackles of capital slavery. The slave plantations were replaced by the corporation and Guevara gave his life to wake up the huddled masses of humanity.

CHE will live on for all eternity and will reside in the hearts of billions until this world breathes its last breath. Hasta La Victoria Siempre!

  • bullshit. he was a mass murderer who killed gays and anyone he thought wasn't fit. "He is a martyr to the cause of world liberation from the shackles of capital slavery." You leftist idiots are all talk and no action. Last time I checked he murdered your own people and was murdered himself. Exactly what did this lunatic accomplish. Nothing. I don't see any change he created. Cuba is still shit with poverty. It did do one thing, brainwash your mind up.

  • @wingchunstreetfight It seems you have been brainwashed if you think Cuba being shit is because of Che...Castro....any cuban really. Look at U.S. policies towards Cuba for the past 40 years. The people suffer, and you blame Che for what exactly? Not succumbing to U.S. policy? Funny how the right will go on and on about america never surrendering, but gets upset when another country does the same. You understand nothing.

  • @hearingjuan Oh yea, the reason people suffer is because of Castro's policies. Explain why Cuba is still a shit hole with one of the shittiest economies? Why is North Korea still so shitty? So you are in fact complaining the reason Cubans suffer is because the US wont give them AID? Last time I checked the Americans lost at Bay of Pigs. They DONT INTERFERE with the people there. IN FACT, we have an embargo. typical SA blaming US for failed delusional policies.

  • @wingchunstreetfight Ummm....are you serious? What do you think the embargo is? LOL the embargo is the REASON cuba is in the economic mess it is. Give them AID? It is U.S. policy to prohibit development in these countries. Look at any of the free trade agreements. LOL typical american, not knowing shit....This guy said they dont interfere....LOL your a joke man. Credit is not allowed to cuba because of this so they need to pay cash for all imports. Thats just one example man..you dont know shit

  • Do you NOT understand what Im getting at? Since when did a country need to rely on others? That was my point. Sorry your spic ass didn't get it. Typical Spic/Third world thinking. Last time I checked, the Soviets were able to get along quite well without US assistance. MY POINT is that Che/Castro were bullshit idiots who created a quagmire in which they not only couldnt get aid but couldnt also HELP themselves. Not our fault Cuba is run by maniacs who "dont need" help.

  • @wingchunstreetfight ''Since when did a country need to rely on others?''

Excuse me, but doesn't the gold ole US of A rely on Saudi Arabia for a steady supply of petroleum? Doesn't it rely on China and Japan to shore up its debt?

''Last time I checked, the Soviets were able to get along quite well without US assistance''

That might have something to do with the massive natural resources of the USSR. Did you also check that?

Come on, man. You can't be this dumb. But hell, you're a racist.

  • So I guess the point you are getting at is that the reason Cuba is so crappy and so shitty and so full of mess is that the US somehow just doesn't want them to have AID huh? I can name you country after country that DOESNT depend on the US for AID. Heck, if the US aided all countries, it would go bankrupt. So in other words, its somehow the Americans fault. Yea right...had absolutely no idea Cuba couldn't run itself. Wait, actually, its full of latin shits like you, so yea, i did know....

  • @wingchunstreetfight What are you talking about AID? Your a fucking moron. They dont want AID, they want trade. I suppose a customer that goes into a store is AIDING the store. LOL. Man you really are a walking stereotype of ignorance. You probably have no idea what Batista was doing in Cuba prior to their revolution. He was a U.S. backed Cuban Dictator. So don't spew bullshit about murders and oppression without knowing shit. God your stupidity must have no limit.

  • @wingchunstreetfight ''Who the hell drove the americans out of Cuba after Infidel Castro decided Communism and isolationism was the way to go?''

LOL. Silly cunt (you) doesn't understand that nationalising the nation's resources from thieving, cheating foreign companies and booting out the Mafia isn't ''isolationism''.

  • @wingchunstreetfight LOL these little angels...man you just dont get it at all. your either with america or a terrorist right? LOL...what a joke

  • @wingchunstreetfight ''MY POINT was, no country needs to depend on being in trade with other countries! ''

    You sure about that?

''And no country is as retarded as cuba as to prevent themselves from doing so through their communist ideals.''

Cuba didn't ''prevent'' anything. The US imposed an embargo on them. Cuba has always been willing to trade with other countries.

  • and keep going on with your little conspiracy theories, people in oppressive/communist countries always have an explanation for their countries failures!

  • conspiracy theory lol. The U.S. backed the overthrow of the elected president in Chile in 73 (Salvador Allende) and put i the dictator for the next 17 years General Augosto Pinochet...the overthrow of Iran's elected president in 1953 Mohammed Mossadeq and put the Shah back in power, hell even recently 2 months they acknowledged the new government in Honduras that just overthrew the elected government....you think this is about communism? LOL Your ignorance is what gives America a bad face.

  • @wingchunstreetfight US has a quid pro quo policy with all nations it provides AID to. That inhibits development, because it provides aid on the basis that the nation will use it to buy goods from the US. Thats why no nation it ever gives AID too develops. Its a form of control. LOL. America is obviously ran by people infinitely more clever than your dumb ass, albeit more nefarious, but its operation is made possible by keeping people like you ignorant to its policies. Go take a class.

  • @wingchunstreetfight Wow you sound like you know everything about Cuba, have you been there? have you experienced what it is? do you know what it means to be Cuban? for f sake, do you know what it is to be latin? do you actually know anything at all about latinamerican history apart from what FOX News shows? If a country doesnt need to rely on others, where will US be? go have a burger with a budwiser and stop trying to be clever...

  • Jesus they look so much alike! Benicio del Toro is one of the best latin-american actors out there...

  • Great Movie. Benicio Del Toro did an amazing job playing Che.

  • nemcavacatussa

  • Benicio Del Toro is sooooo FINE!!!

  • does anyone know the song they play of the woman singing?

    love it

  • Mercedes Sosa - Balderrama

I can send it to you if you give me your email.

  • Stunning film! I'm going to pick up both pars on dvd next week for sure!

  • Benicio looks so much like comrade che!

  • Cadoreoreore:

  • BRAVO BENICIO, BRAVO !

  • saw the movie, seems the parts where Che signs the death warrants of dozens of non-combatants got edited out of the movie. oh and the oppression of everyone who happened to disagree with him was left out too. other than that i'm sure it's all historical fact.

  • Well, its not the part where he signs the death warrants of judged and convicted traitors who murdered people, but is the part where he admits in front of the UN that his regime has executed traitors, combatants or non combatants.

And that is having a lot of bawls.

  • most beautiful and intelligent man that ever lived....

  • yea when is it gonna come out for DVD?

  • I think it's out, but not in the U.S. might be wrong.

  • It is already out..... u can buy or rent it at blockbuster both parts are there for like 15$ each

  • I just ordered a Che t-shirt. It's great. Che FTW.

  • The many faces of war are a disguisting endles trail of blood shed. Life is almost meaningless and the separation between innocent and guilty characters are identical. For example, western invasion in the middle east, do bombs only target terrorist? No, innocent life is a tragedy of war. Che was a Marxist, who knew the amount of power he posessed. His blitzkrieg ideal is controversial; however, the "Communist Manifesto" is controversial too.

  • True. Selflessly sacrificing yourself to try to help the poor and dispossessed of this world isn't controversial. His methods were. It would be better to build off of his ideals while finding another way to get things done.

The truth is war is never justified under any conditions because it is a vicious cycle. You put a bullet in a guy's head thinking the world is that much closer to freedom yet you've just widowed a wife, orphaned a child, taken away someone's friend...

  • is this movie EVER going to be released??? eight months overdue and counting...

  • It already came out, it just had a limited release is all. Wait for the DVD?

  • sooner or later somebody's gotta take out the trash

  • No side was clean in this fight.

  • Maby no, but many people thank him too. Like I wrote before, he did a lot of things that was wrong too, he was not perfect. But he did something good for people who love him. I have a friends who treat him like a symbol, they owe him thanks. I speak for them, not for you. Maby you should read my comment one more time, and see that I am not on his side 100%, but he did something that effected a lot of people, both good and bad, yes.

  • Who sings that song?

Che was maby not perfect (no man is), but he fought till death for something that did not affect him in his normal life. He had a job, he had money, but still he fought for those who did not get heard. The poor, the people who did not have enough, the people who should be free, who should own land. I'm no comunist, but Che is a hero.

  • I don't know about that. Three members of my family in Cuba died on the firing wall... those people were farmers, where are their voices?

  • yes, its' a movie, and while i do not agree with the politics of Che, i respect his willingness to die for them.

  • IM-PE-CA-BLE DEL TORO!!

  • i saw this on bootleg in mexico. they only have the first part. but so far the first part was kickass! benicio del toro did an amazing job. you can't even tell them apart. the battles are also intense and gripping. hopefully it will come outon dvd so i can buy it!

  • Can't Wait to see it... If your gonna Talk shit about Che, You're better of just not commenting this video and Keeping your opinion to yourselves.

Che was great in his own way and beleived in what he stood for. Money & power were not his goals. Que Viva El Che !!!

  • yea fuck any CHE haters!!!!

  • Che was a murderer, so FUCK YOU. You didnt lose family members by his hands, so you have no place to speak.

  • So you are holding with the other side, the one who just think about money and power? I'm not for war at all, and his thoughts of killing be and only solution, I'm against. I'm reffering to that he stood up and spoke, not the killing. So sorry if I have offended you.

  • I was hot headed that day, my apologies to you. God bless.

  • why do you apologize? Batisa should have been killed too

  • Batista was by no means a good leader for Cubans either... The alternative just wasn't worth the trade.

  • well your family members may have been thieves stealing money from the people

  • Che was a murderer that killed innocent people, I know this because I lost people in MY family from his murders. Che Guevara lost his girlfriend at a teenage age and when he took power, he murdered the man that took his girlfriend.. infront of the man's family; not even the same woman was married to him. People that support him are people that like his face as a fashion statement on shirts.

  • People that support him are people that like his face as a fashion statement on shirts"............. No Mames

Come pinga

  • @doncarlitos91 your a moron, che killed innocent people and children.

  • Thank you very much.

  • Whats the name of the song, starting at 1:21.

    Thank you for reply.

  • I'm not sure about the name, but it's a song by Mercedes Sosa.

  • nothing to say!just amazing!

  • Che was a guy who fight and die for his belives, wright or wrong...are you,all the guys that are blaming him capable of this?Would you die for your cause?I dont think so...

And please dont tell that Hitler did that also,Che was always in the first line of fire...he reallly was a martir of his cause!

  • I know the economy didn't take off in Cuba, that is tragic. That was NOT Che's vision of Cuba. But if you think that only Castro and Che are to blame, hard-core principles and the biggest monopoly (corporate) players (private banks) were at play. These were the product of the Time. We all need to look more into depth of how this world is really run.

  • poor guy....ignorant

  • for the one who placed this reply why dont you do youre self & society a favor and place youre self in a retard institution

  • Seems we all need to look at films such as this as one about history and take it as an experience in itself. All film is opinionated since it is made by another human with a different view. This doesn't mean you should brush off any single human experience. This is a great story in the name of the human spirit. I'll watch a film about Mussolini if it would help me gather knowledge. This is a man who stood up for what he believed in and we should be allowed to be inspired by that.

  • Tony Montana was a wanker!!

  • You are really ingnorant get your facts right read and learn to think about it than just spitting out so proclamaied thoughts with out facts that man that did more than you could do. and what was his rewars to be sold out by Castrto the CIA,

  • even if you hate him...it's a fucking movie dude

  • is that a compliment or an insult or both?

  • e me so tatuato er che sul braccio

  • Che Guevara remains a revolutionary hero. He was an incredible doctor and brilliant man. Take the time to learn about his ideals and beliefs before you make such asinine comments. If America had even half of his compassion and perseverance then perhaps we would see changes being made here!

  • AmeriKa is full of people who want to spend all day at the mall, and then come home to watch AmeriKan Idol.

  • Che is a real Hero

  • Too bad hell is not real.

  • hes a leader

  • Funny how the interviewer in the beginning sounds like "The Boss" from Metal Gear Solid 3.

  • ASESINO ES BUSH

  • when is this movie coming out??

it hasnt come out in texas because i went on january to the theaters and it wasnt there and i keep on going and its never there..

  • I think it already came out, it might still be showing. But it might come out for dvd soon, but still keep looking.

  • 25,000 is still an unimaginable amount of human beings dead... if you wonna make revolution there always be people on 2 or more sides. "Our fight is a fight to the dead" Viva Che! We are in need of revolution!

There is no free liberty, especially not in americas! The movie is indeed a masterpiece, hope it inspires many people, especially in Europe!

    Go educate yourself jaja.

    You fucking moron.

  • hasta la victoria siempre

  • PATRIA O MUERTE!

  • It was obviously snubbed at the awards because Che was critical of American Policy

Youtube Gaza Homeland or Death and watch his speech to the UN and how angry the US delegation look when he insults them

    Viva Che!

  • VERGUENZA DAS TU.

  • Asesino dices? Conoces o tienes algun familiar o amigo asesinado? VIVA ELCHE

  • Ridiculo tu comentario.

  • Before this movie was even written I always thought Benicio looked just like Che, perfect roll for him, looking forward to seeing this.

  • Best picture of the year in my mind. Oscars is total bullshit.

  • I recommend this book to read Exposing the real Che Guevara by Humberto Fontova

  • It seems that our friend trizzooo doesnt know anything about old and current history.Firs table; the total of Iraqi civilians dead as a result of the war is 20,000 or 25,000, maybe 30,000 this study was done by a independent organization, Dr. Les Roberts of the university's Bloomberg School of Public Health. Buddy stay a way from the loony websites there are full of hatred even the majority of the media got this fact wrong due to lock of objectivity.

  • the loony websites? ahah

talk to the 1 million plus dead in Iraq about the loony websites.

Oh, hey and the CIA staged the 9/11 attacks.

    9/11 = Inside Job

go watch your mainstream websites, and put all your money into Bank of America stock, cause everythign is just fine.

    :)

  • I'm sorry that you don't have any objectivity on this type of issues Eagle 776. The fact of matter you haven't provided any facts instate you rather put emotion over reason and hatred, by saying the CIA stage 9/11 attacks. But I respect your opinion because I know thats what you believe, but believes are different from facts. However I'm glad that we had this chat and good look to you.

  • like wise.

By the way I have plenty of facts.

The alleged 9/11 hijackers lived on US military bases for one, and were trained by the CIA, and on and on and on.

    VIVA CHE!

    VIVA the Revolution~!

  • Homeland or Death!! May God bless this great man with paradise!!

Long live the resistance against oppression!!

  • The CIA didn't stage anything. The people who truly believe that, just don't want to believe that the terrorists were smart enough to create an attack like that. The fact is that the planes went into the buildings, and the buildings went down. I'm not saying that there isn't a conspiracy around what happened to that plan in Pennsylvania, or the Pentagon. But the Two Towers were not destroyed by explosives.

P.S: "Che" is a phenomenal film. It's probably Benicio's best performance to date.

  • you havent researched it.

    I have.

    The CIA created Al Queda.

    The CIA created the Taliban.

    These are documented facts.

The CIA was funding the alleged hijackers through the Pakistani ISI. The alleged hijackers were recieving money through the head of the ISI. This same general is DC one week before 9/11 meeting with Tenet, head of the CIA; morning of 9/11 he is meeting with Porter Goss, future head of CIA, and Senate Intel. Try researching this stuff.

  • how does that matter? 25,000 is still an unimaginable amount of human beings dead.

    Go educate yourself.

    You fucking moron.

  • I am concerned by what the movie ignores of the man. In focusing on his words, and ignoring his actions, the movie fails to show more than the mere propaganda of Che. One does not have an insight into the animal of Che, into what convinced him to ignore humanity and embrace terror as a weapon.
