they make kits to drop the srt4 motor in a 1st gen. honestly the 2.0 dohc is just as good of a motor. it's going to cost more to build but it's worth it to make 700+ fwhp. ive got a first gen turbo that runs with modified srt4 and my bottom end is stock and i run 10 psi and have for over 2 years. the kit to build the motor is about 3k and it had all internals needed to get you to the 700 mark.

It's Patrick's car, and it's a beautiful ride. It was a show car, and spent time in the Chrysler museum, did Dodge ads, but is now moving more to go than show. If you're going to criticize, you better have done more.

He modified the wiper cowl, its no longer the black plastic, installed alot of braided hosing, new injector rail, an MSD ignition coil pack(which really only smooths idle and response not improving speed), a deep cell battery, he did some work on the suspension too from what I can see here. He wipes alot of things down with a protectant sheen as evidenced by his hoses and intake. He painted the fuse boxes and themed it nicely. Much better than stock looks and it retains a sensible profile.

Notice the piping at the back of the engine bay behind the coil pack's heat shield, that's where the turbo is.

And once again, revved to 1500rpms you aren't going to hear squat from the turbo.

The car is mine. You won't hear the turbo spool or the BOV let go because it doesn't spool or build boost with no load on the engine. The car was in nuetral and revved to 1500prms - of course the turbo wont spool. Also, the stock door hinges have been back on the car for quite some time. I agree, the lambos are lame.
