xCronic: a Knight (blocker) is designed to take the hits better due to shielding. They will take less overall damage than any other class would blocking, thus making it less "waste."

However, the knight has the highest overall cost due to the amount of UH's (or the new Potions) and the high chance of dieing when you're facing this sort of boss. He also gets little to no exp. (this could be changed in recent patches, but last time i played, this was the reasoning)

its okay that u say that they take hits better than other vocations but the truth is that what makes them good for bloking are ther hit points they have more and can resist more because the health potions heal alot more than a mana potion and the sio from the druids make it alot more hard to defeat and knights are the vocation that waste the less

PAladins NO LOOT FOR THEM just stupid arrows and bolts not waste ever for them specially at that high of lvls

BUt my opinion knights never should get loot split between mage and knight. the blocker is uselss without people doing dmg and killin the monsters he is worthless without mages sds etc etc

Therefore since mages and knight play the most role in this loot is split and with 8.1 loot always must be split if ur using share exp bullshit if knights get all loot
