@gojetafu Gorusei do get scared, when it comes to Yonkou. Shanks had his team with him, yes, but the navy also had all of their top tiers right there on the battle field. They still didn't want to fuck with Shanks. He only brought 1 pirate ship, just to clarify. As of yet, nobody is on par with Shanks. The slim margin that he had over everyone is a big difference in top tiers.
Dude your wrong a fleet admiral is as strong as a yonkou maybe even stronger because Sengoku when he was a fleet admiral he fought almost equal with Roger. WB beat akainu bcuz they aren't from the same era so don't think other yonkous can beat Akainu so easily.

He has one of the most strongest haki levels and is almost equal to Whitebeard. Garp is very strong, yes, but he will not be able to take out a Yonkou like Shanks. Why do you think the gorusei and Sengoku get so scared when some of them meet? Don't you think they would want them eliminated? Well they do, but they don't have the strength to do that.

Even BB ran when he was waiting for the marines to bring him a ship in exchange for the pirate he caught but when he heard that akainu was on the ship he ran away saying he can't fight akainu right now meaning that his crew is still small n weak to take on akainu so he will be able to fight akainu whenever he gets more strong crew members.
Another thing is that even though BB has WB devil fruit doesn't make him as strong as WB. What made WB so powerful was that he has all the 3 types of HAKI plus his devil fruit power made him invisible n one more thing WB devil fruit power is feared cuz of its destructive power the devil fruit power isn't meant for one on one fight its meant to destroy buildings, ships, houses, islands, n things like that. So even with WB devils fruit BB is 1/3 as strong as WB was.
What I know is that no pirate is able to defeat WB in one on one fight except roger. Even shanks can't win against WB if they fought it will be just like Akainu n Akoiji fight at the end akainu won same thing will happen WB will turn out to win.

@gojetafu Admirals are high tiers, and Yonkous are High-High tiers. Admirals do not keep the Yonkous on check, they keep the mid - high tier pirates on check. Yonkous are a threat to the world, so if an admiral could really kill a Yonkou, they would have sent them there already.

I mean it sounds awesome but think about it, if Luffy could beat a Yonkou (who control the new world) then logically he should be able to beat most other foes in the new world with ease. Ussop already had knowledge of Luffy's abilities and knew how strong he was, so he wasn't underestimating him like some of his enemies have in the past. That's why he was able to give him a run for his money after 2 hours of preparation despite the gap in power.

Honestly, it's so Luffy. He does what he thinks is right, and keep getting up no matter what. Goku gave up when Vegeta was in his Great Ape form, right before blasting Veggy's eye. But Luffy differs in, he doesn't call it quits as long as he can do something about it and is still alive.
We've seen it since the beginning. Kuro, Kreig, Arlong, Crocidile, Eneru, Lucci, Gekko, The Waden, Black Beard, and Hodi. He'll never change in that sense, and I think many people wouldn't like it if he did.

@gojetafu Gorusei do get scared, when it comes to Yonkou. Shanks had his team with him, yes, but the navy also had all of their top tiers right there on the battle field. They still didn't want to fuck with Shanks. He only brought 1 pirate ship, just to clarify. As of yet, nobody is on par with Shanks. The slim margin that he had over everyone is a big difference in top tiers.

He has one of the most strongest haki levels and is almost equal to Whitebeard. Garp is very strong, yes, but he will not be able to take out a Yonkou like Shanks. Why do you think the gorusei and Sengoku get so scared when some of them meet? Don't you think they would want them eliminated? Well they do, but they don't have the strength to do that.

Even BB ran when he was waiting for the marines to bring him a ship in exchange for the pirate he caught but when he heard that akainu was on the ship he ran away saying he can't fight akainu right now meaning that his crew is still small n weak to take on akainu so he will be able to fight akainu whenever he gets more strong crew members.

Another thing is that even though BB has WB devil fruit doesn't make him as strong as WB. What made WB so powerful was that he has all the 3 types of HAKI plus his devil fruit power made him invisible n one more thing WB devil fruit power is feared cuz of its destructive power the devil fruit power isn't meant for one on one fight its meant to destroy buildings, ships, houses, islands, n things like that. So even with WB devils fruit BB is 1/3 as strong as WB was.

Then those fights will be much less interesting as they will be one sided like Luffy vs Hodi. If luffy trained for 2 years and could take on a yonkou, he may as well move on to the raftel then and become pirate king. He had to train so that he and his crew could be PREPARED for the new world. @shizzaun14 Yea, it's not like One Piece has power levels or anything so weaker characters are capable of defeating stronger ones if they plan, strategize, and prepare. Ussop already had knowledge of Luffy's abilities and knew how strong he was, so he wasn't underestimating him like some of his enemies have in the past. That's why he was able to give him a run for his money after 2 hours of preparation despite the gap in power.

@RnBrealist I agree with you. As much as I like luffy, he still has a way to go before he can beat a yonkou. Even the admirals probably. Now smoker on the other hand is a toss up. I believe he can fight toe to toe with smoker now. Not saying luffy is op but I feel like the only reason luffy couldn't take smoker was because of his logia ability. Now that he knows haki, we should see a good fight

Luffy is my favorite good guy in One Piece but it's annoying to see people overrate him and try to make him seem stronger than he actually is, when he's actually not all that impressive in the grand scheme of things. An Admiral would wreck him at his current level. Yes, him and Smoker are around the same level. The only reason he couldn't fight Smoker before was because he couldn't touch him.

the yonkou are all equal in strength. similar to the 3 admirals. only thing that give one admiral the advantage over the other is their devil fruits. shanks and whitebeard fought equally whitebeard proably would win but barely just like with akainu and akoji they were equals but akainu barely won

Whitebeard also was only on Rogers level in his prime, which he was already long past by Marineford. That "one Yonkou" is on the same level as Whitebeard, Shanks, Kaidou, and is currently one of the only people alive that's capable of killing Blackbeard. I never shit about being the fucking pirate king. You're the one who thinks that Luffy, a wet-behind-the-ears rookie who's never even set foot in the New World can already take on one of the 4 Yonkou when he can barely take Jinbei. We have whole arcs before he ever gets to that point.

Honestly, it's so Luffy. He does what he thinks is right, and keep getting up no matter what. Goku gave up when Vegeta was in his Great Ape form, right before blasting Veggy's eye. But Luffy differs in, he doesn't call it quits as long as he can do something about it and is still alive.
We've seen it since the beginning. Kuro, Kreig, Arlong, Crocidile, Eneru, Lucci, Gekko, The Waden, Black Beard, and Hodi. He'll never change in that sense, and I think many people wouldn't like it if he did.

actually makes sense now in terms of madam shirley's predictions. She said the the destruction of fishman island lies on the hand of the man with the straw hat. It doesnt really mean he will destroy the island it only meant its on his hands to defend it. If he fails then, fishman island is done for. Just my opinion :)

@gojetafu Yet the reason why I said that the yonkou were the strongest is because it is what Oda has hinted at. They control the New world, hence straight away we know they must be very powerful and influential just to do that. And the fact that Marines needed ALL their forces just to protect againt one of them is further evidence of their power. Ofcourse not all of them will be as strong as whitebeard, but they wouldn't be placed in the same group as him without being close...

How do you know Kong is pared with Dragon? That is not logic, that is called baseless assumptions... But I gotta say one thing.. A war AGAIN ? Aren't you tired of war ? I mean we got out of Marineford war, we just got out of the "10 vs 100 000" war and now another war with Big Mam and maybe the other emperors ? In my opinion this is becoming repetitive. Well you did forget to mention one other issue! Luffy's fellow Supernova Captain Eustass Kid! He supposedly sank two of Big Mam's ships! Also as for Luffy he did what was needed to save his friends. You also saw a bit of intelligence FINALLY from Luffy by at first offering a trade for peace (Instead of sweets we got gold) but if you don't like that offer then we fight! Made since to me.
