Texas should of gone. They would of matched up better with Florida in all aspects of the game than OU. McCoy with his fleet feet would of gave Florida all sorts of fits. Texas is less predictable than OU because they do have better coaching.
Texas-Florida would've definitely been a better game than OU. But Florida-USC would've been great too. With USC's defense last season, it would've been a pretty entertaining game. Maybe this season we'll a see Rose Bowl similar to when Vince Young faced USC....

If Michael had caught the ball and gotten tackle or thrown out of bounds its still a clock stop due to the college rules and a field goal would of still had won the game because it was 12-13. Texas should of gone. They would of matched up better with Florida in all aspects of the game than OU. McCoy with his fleet feet would of gave Florida all sorts of fits. Texas is less predictable than OU because they do have better coaching.

Texas-Florida would've definitely been a better game than OU. But Florida-USC would've been great too. With USC's defense last season, it would've been a pretty entertaining game. Maybe this season we'll a see Rose Bowl similar to when Vince Young faced USC....

I had about 6 Longhorn fans sitting around me talking mad sh**!! One got up in my face when the Longhorns scored their last touchdown. And I remember my friend almost crapped himself when he saw Tech gain momentum at the end. I just thought to myself that Crabtree would pull off a catch at the end. Nothing better than seeing all those pissed off faces:) GO TEXAS TECH!! Always will be my team no matter what!

if only the safety #12 had stayed behind crabtree LIKE HE WAS SUPPOSED TO! he might have been able to get one hit in that, combined with the CB's jersey-pullng, could haveknocked crabtree out of bounds, thereby saving the game. but no, he decided to go for an interception that wasnt there. glad to see that decision worked out for UT

If you didn't notice that he was actually trying to go for a deflection of the ball. If Michael had caught the ball and gotten tackle or thrown out of bounds its still a clock stop due to the college rules and a field goal would of still had won the game because it was 12-13. It was just a well caught football and a great break away.

seriously dude. think about it. gore will have probably one of his greatest seasons this year. with crabtree, morgan, bruce, and hill and battle are good too, it's sure to force defenses to play the pass which will open up the run, which dangerous, since gore runs stright up the field. to stop him they'll to bring in linebackers wihich will open up the pass, to stop the pass threat, they'll have to spread to linebackers out. 49ers got a good run scheme and now a dangerous pass threat. watch out.

yeah your right the oline is a little shaky. they just signed i think like 12 undrafted free agents the other day. and i'm pretty sure they got two linemen. one of them is like 6'7'' and well over 300 pounds. he's a big boy. hopefully he can contribute to the line and bring them up to speed.

im a steelers fan but ive been waiting for the year gore will stay healthy, btw i was looking at the 49ers depth chart on offense....this team is just wow i see so much talent....my only question is....who will start QB for them...they got alex smith, kinda a dissapointment atm, Damon Huard, Shaun Hill and two rookie QB's...who starts, id like to see Smith because he should be the starter, but will he stay healthy and play smart for a full 16 games. o-line looks ok, should be good in my opinion

yeah the niner line looks okay. if they can get another big guy, or if they're undrafted rookie that they picked up turns out to be pretty good(he was in college but he had 2 alcohol incidents, ouch. lol) they're line will do just fine.
1 thing that people don't know about alex smith is, while he was a started he's had 4 different head coaches and 4 different offensive coordinators in 4 years. sad. and his line was one of the smallest in the league, he deserves a chance to start. he's good.
