I've heard of Huntington Park and Huntington Beach, but have no idea whatsoever where Huntington Flats is.

@IDLERACER If the song title refers to an actual place, then Huntington Flats is just of Huntington Beach in california.

This was the flip side of the Murmaids' monster hit, Popsicles And Icicles. It followed a pattern at that time of instrumental flip sides that were recorded as so to persuade radio programmers to focus on the A-side. But the instrumentals were often irresistible in their own right, as Huntington Flats demonstrates quite well.

i was 15 and this 45 was one of my first records, my parents hated both sides and anything else i brought home,i couldn't wait to move out,little did i know i was in heaven and in an era to never be seen again,i wish i could go back and do it right............................
