Hobby pyrotechnics is something that is possible to do legally in most states given that all the fine print is followed (can only be transported by ATF licensees, need approved storage, gotta pull a shooting permit to light them, etc). Of course, by hobby pyrotechnics I mean artful pyro like shell building. Making pipe bombs will never be legal.

This is a great book, but with a couple mistakes. I think that Ammonium nitrate is labeled as "dangerous primary explosives" in the explosives section and also this thing with banana peels rotflol. However it should be known that the author have literally no knowledge of explosives and scrambled most of the compunds and precedures from a military books(oh the irony).

I found this book more interesting in the introduction(written by Peter Bergman) which is somehow more philosophical stuff.

the internet version you read has nothing to do with the book your holding. the internet one is just a bunch of stupid files put together by bored teenagers. they just named it anarchist cookbook for attention, and there are so many different versions online, all of them ripping off each other and all of them dangerously innacurate. most things in that book and on the internet one, trying them will probably get your hands blown off or get you arrested.

Some of those recipes will get you killed while trying to follow them. Others are impossible (the chemical formulas are wrong). At least acquire a basic knowledge of chemistry before you start playing around with explosives. Many explosives are sensitive to things such as touch, heat, static electricity, humidity.. and so on.

Knowing what i know now i feel it´s almost a miracle that nobody got killed or badly injured.

I've got it. It's a harmless book. Most of the instructionals and informationals are outdated. Only a small portion of the book is actually relevant to the current general public. It's a fairly common, easy to get book. People usually buy it more of a sort of "cult classic" type item.

What is the big deal with this shit, I bought a new version of the Anarchist Cookbook for a lot of money. It also included the Al-Qaeda training manual. I can say for a fact, it will do as much to turn you into a terrorist as a navy seal training manual will turn you into a navy seal.
