Really cool!! This is very similar to the one Sly used but not exact. Sly recorded Stanga for the little sister album in 69' but the M. R. K. II didn't come out until 70' If you compare this to Syl's and you will notice the woodblock and bongo's pitch are slightly different. Keep in mind they also made a Mark I and a Mark VI of this machine to which rumor says he used the VI. Anyway great sound!!
Also Graham Central Station used it. Patryce Choc'Let Banks declared in "THE JAM" It's a F.U.N.K BOX It's an F.U.N.K BOX A FUNK BOX !! Check out it out. The leader of GCS was the former bass player of SLY AND THE FAMILY STONE !
No doubt Fear of Pop (Ben Folds) used this machine on the album of the same name. Very cool.

Great submodern
You got a important historical piece in your hands.
Used by Sly Stone, was a 'PREMONITION' of the way of the Future styles (Disco, Hip Hop, House, etc)

Great machine! The "Ace of Base," (Go Go) beat before Ace of Base existed is funny.

F-U-N-K BOX. Also heard on "The Jam" by Graham Central Station, played by C-H-O-C-L-A-T! BOOYAH!

Thanks for spelling C-H-O-C-L-A-T correctly. Everyody makes the mistake of adding the "E" to the end. Larry Graham be JAMMIN'!!!

WOW! That's pretty groovy. Sounds like those 70s Lowrey organs with built-in drum machines. Great work!
