In basically all stories featuring Orc, the race as a whole is fostered into warmongering and death in battle, very akin to Viking. By appearance alone Orc are larger, heavier and more muscular than humans and as with Viking, are able to fight to the death despite heavy injury in battle due to their powerful believe in the importance of battle.

Not to mention M16 NATO 5.56 rounds have issues dropping Taliban in 2 to 3 hits.
