actually the heat sync helps the plastic to not melt during rapid fire, and yes it gets really hot during the rapid fire, the brass barrel fits tighter and shoots faster, but it gets really hot and kept melting the plastic

1. That is NOT the Nerf Crossbow (which I'm pretty sure you're well aware of)

2. The heat sink, although innovative, is completely unnecessary. Although it doesn't seem to get in the way.

3. Since you modded it with just a single barrel, rapid fire would be unobtainable. Even if you did mod it to allow rapid fire, you wouldn't be able to do it as fast as you did in the vid, without damaging your darts.

Nerf guns can't overheat during rapidfire unless it's battery powered, and in which case the barrel wouldn't heat up.
