  • I have a problem..when i tuck my hand to try and do no handed windmills, my face rolls on the ground, hurting really bad..is that normal?

  • @vangsta1997 yea, when you restab make sure your legs don't touch the floor and drag and press hard on the hand you don't stab on.

  • I have a question, how do I keep my hips high? like I've been doing only a windmill for months now but whenever I try to go for second round I always have to use my foot to tip a bit so i can make my hips high, I think I'm not stabbing high enough when im coming back to position but idk.

  • @dabbuful yeah its normal i busted up my shoulder a lot when i was learning. wear a sweater or something and make u let it heal.

  • i've got some problems here...when im in a hanglide position then kick my legs high up and turn..i've hurt badly at my hips..btw my mill is a clockwise position. pls help..after a week i hurt badly on my hips...cant even do a freeze..the main thing is i cant get back to a hanglide pos and hurt my hip bones.

    you're not collapsing properly that's why. you're probably just slamming right down on your hips. the problem here is because you aren't kicking your legs correctly. put more strength into the kick. if you're clockwise make sure you kick that left leg really hard and UP. this will allow you to go on your shoulder instead of your hips.

  • This is exactly where I have problems with my windmills. I dunno what it is but after I push myself up into the restab my right shoulder (I too go counter-clockwise) will feel like its strained. But when it doesnt that's when my legs are too low and eventually hit the ground once I get into the restab. I've also been working on my mills for a lil over a month now.

    put more strength into the kick. the harder you kick the better. the more you go on your shoulders the easier it is. it is probably strained because you are too low on your back and rolling down there makes it way more difficult to re-stab. so make sure you get down the initial kick and stay high on your shoulders. its a lot smoother to roll there than down your torso.

    i have the motion and my feet barely hit the ground but once i get the second windmill i get out of balanced or something and it fails

    you should make a vid of you doing a strong windmill and puttin git in slow motion!

  • lol yes it was hugely frustrating for me. i would always be sweating after a couple mins and i would get so mad cuz i couldn't get em. i even wore something on my legs to keep em straight but that didn't work either. i've tried many methods and watched every single tutorial. but the one thing that got me to where i am today was not giving up on it and i'm so fortunate to have no given up. just keep at it dude, i can promise you that you'll get it, no matter how frustrating it can get.

    i jz stop after 1 rotation even i felt my legs are high up because i din restab. help ??

  • at least you're getting good momentum. the thing is that your hands should always be tucked in the entire time ready for the next rotation. re-stabbing comes with practice and getting your brain used to that motion. keep it up, you'll get it soon.

    my head tend to look up n din stay low. n after 1 rotation i just duno wud to do next n stop. zzz

  • Thanks man ;) I could'nt do a windmil for two month until I saw this tutorial, and finally I get it.. I thought that problem was with legs, but actually problem was with my upper body.

    One tip that helped me out lately was delaying the collapse and getting more height.
