  • Thank you for this song.. it reaffirms what a friend has been telling me for a long time now.

  • Give thanks in all circumstances-1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 I've experienced some life challenges and didn't see it as a blessing until later on. It's all perspective, which it grows as we grow in our relationship with our Mighty God!

  • When His blessings come thru tears and pain, He is making us stronger in our faith and growing our testimony to others! Praise God for the blessings thru raindrops and tears!!! I've had so many! God bless you and your husband, Laura!!

  • one person doesn't understand the meaning behind this song "BLESSINGS"

  • Thank you for that, Laura.

  • When my grandpa passed away am I being blessed because it doesn't feel like it but hearing this song helped me realize I am but in Gods eyes. Thanks Laura Story for writing this amazing song.

  • i first heard this song last year on my way to the hospital to visit my sister who was just diagnosed with stage 4 lupus.it was a very scary situation for the entire family and a real testing and strengthening for all our faith. My sister identified so closely with this song and she held on to the concept that Gods blessings came in disguised through this situation. She is 100% cured now and the lupus is in remission! Praise God for all his blessings,

  • so true... i really blessed by this song. its helps me to know that blessings is not just in good ways, but also and maybe always at worse for good. GOD is very merciful in sending trials for us.

  • God is blessing us through YOU. Thank you...

  • Eloquence from a young lady of great faith.

  • The key word here is "reliance". The blessing is his presence when we rely on God.

  • Blessings work for the eternal greater good, not always the immediate satisfaction and gratification, though sometimes they can be this as well. Blessed are those in mourning-Matthew 5. All things work together for good for those who are called according to his purpose-Romans 8. Any person who has ever faced severe trials will come to see this beautiful truth. Where are the hidden blessings in your life? Find them and praise God for them! Much love.

  • Keep praying. Keep trying! You never know if that miracle is just minutes away.

  • Thank you for this beautiful song. It has helped me in so many ways. It is thru the hardest times we grow closer to Him. Jesus is my dearest friend. Friends and family will fail you at some time but He is closer than any of these.

  • "

We just broke up my wife and i at 12 o clock

jes God is a blessing always even if we do not know Why

    Michel Dillions

    "

  • simply put -- God didnt promise us an easy life on earth, He did promise that He will never leave us. :)

  • @overjoyedstudios Amen. "In this life, you SHALL have tribulations .... but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world." "I will NEVER leave your nor forsake you ..."

  • I'm crying after hearing this song. My husband is on his third layoff since 2008. We are completely broke and about to go through bankruptcy. Although he has applied to many companies, he has not been getting many responses. This is truly unusual compared to the last two layoffs which, although were protracted, were constant phone calls from headhunters, etc. He is in the IT field and the silence is deafening. Please pray for us!

  • @mmlinke1 I completely understand what you and your husband are going through. I am in the IT field too and I have not been able to find a job in that field for in over 3 years. Everywhere I turn, it seems like it's a dead end. I feel like giving up but I know I have to be strong for my wife and daughter. They mean everything to me. I know if I give up, they would struggle even more. Even if we have to live in a box, as long as I'm in the box with them, we will always be a family. God bless you!

  • @DevilsCuz Thank you so much for your kind words of encouragement. I send you great blessings and love on your path. May God bless you in all your endeavors. Thank you again! mmlinke1

  • @DevilsCuz

I just saw an IT opening with KCM.org You might want to have him check out the employment opportunities there.

  • @MomLittleton One opening really doesn't mean much. They probably just listed the position just so they don't get in trouble with the EEO. I've applied to hundreds of jobs and most of them rather just hire internally.

  • @mmlinke1 I've been there and while I'm currently employed my layoffs put us in such a financial bind that we will be trying to catch up for years. Don't give up hope friend. What part of the country are you located in? During my last layoff, I started my own business but found a job before I could really get it off the ground. Is that a possibility? There is demand for IT support for smaller companies...maybe that might he something to check out? Be well and God Bless you and your family.

  • @CJMosca Thank you soooo much for your kind words of encouragement. I know that we are not alone in this struggle. We are in Florida. There's no money to start a business right now. I"m praying daily that things will turn around quickly. Many blessings to you and all your loved ones!

  • @mmlinke1, I will pray for you. Know that you are thought of and in all of our hearts. Remember footprints in the sand. The man said, during the rough parts of his liafe, "Lord, is this when you abandoned me?" And the Lord replied, "No Son, this is when I caried you."

  • @mmlinke1 Sending up prayers!! I hope things are getting better!!

  • I'm sure that God would not give you more than you can handle. I recently lost my mother three years after losing my father. At the time, i was angry and mad and asking God, why does it have to be me. I still don't an answer, but i'm learning to trust, because he will not stir me wrong. Trust in him, and he'll provide for you. I'll keep you in my prayers

  • @mmlinke1 I am praying for your husband. Believe God that all things are possible, speak the job in existence and you shall have whatever you ask. I pray that God would sustain in in this difficult time, may God bless yo richly.

  • @mmlinke1 God works in crazy ways. I was trolling through looking for this song because I'm having a bad day and I just happened to read your comment.

I'm not sure what your husband does in IT but shoot me a reply. I work for a university in Vancouver, Canada. My department just posted 3 positions in my department looking for permanent and long term contractors (12 months). You can reach me at cms1500@gmail.com.

  • Laura this is an amazing song and a wonderful testimony the song touches my heart truely there is blessing that comes with waiting on the Lord ,i which my sister could hear this,,she is giving up every thing and forgeting that God is the one who fixes every broken pieces ,i love this song from the depth of my heart,,thank you ...and THANK GOD for such great talent,,,

  • What an awesome testimony...even while she's in the midst of her questions, she created such a beautiful, anointed song...that is touching many, many lives. Mine, included. This is my first song I've heard from her, but she not only has a beautiful story and voice, but she's anointed to tell His stories. Definitely will be praying for her and her family - and that she continues as He's calling her to do His works.

  • Thank you so much for sharing this story. Me and my mom went to your show in Morganton, NC. My Dad has a rare form of cancer that has been with Him for a year. Blessing, has really spoken to our family. It is always best to let God paint our situations.

  • Our Father listens. Call upon His name The owner of the voice did not forsake you. His name is YaHuWaH.

  • Love

  • thank you laura love this message very inspirational song

  • Thank you for sucha beautiful song! We need to try to remeber that God brings us down so that we can pull ourselfs back up as we reach out for him!

  • In the midst of a culture and society that wants only the good things, where preachers teach a gospel of prosperity - we forget that Jesus told us that the one who would follow Him would have to take up his cross daily. I appreciate the message of this song so much - because all things really do work together for good for those who love the Lord and are called according to HIS purpose. I will pray for you and your husband.

  • As a pastor who just celebrated his 10 year "TBI" anniversary, I'm grateful to hear a song that reminds us that not all blessings come wrapped like a Christmas present. My best to you & your husband.

  • Our two kids just did this song last Sunday in church. I posted their video.....This song has been an incredible song for our family. Our son is playing the guitar and our daughter who is singing was diagnosed at 4 with Systemic Juvenile Rheumatoid Arthritis and at 11 diagnosed with Ulcerative Colitis. So this song has been a REAL BLESSING to us all. THANK YOU SO MUCH for singing this so we can all hear and enjoy! God Bless!

  • Thank you for writing this song. It spoke to me and reminded me that God was beside me and led me through many difficulties, painful events and setbacks. It reminded me that even if I go through another disappointment, he will still be with me and he will turn it into something good if I trust him and hold onto him.

  • The most powerful poems and songs come from the struggles and shaping of our hearts, praise and worship songs are always uplifting, but the words that our own hearts can identify with have the greatest impact, and I believe those are the words God wants us to share. I absolutely love this song because it speaks to every believers heart giving courage and hope and sharing the depth of God's love.

  • James 1:17 KJV Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.

  • I so appreciate the message of this beautiful song. Thank you for allowing God to work in your heart so that you could share this with so many who need to hear these powerful words.

  • Thank you so much Lord, for Blessing Laura, In making this Gifted Song. I heard this song on a day of sadness. As I thought, how "BEAUTIFUL"!. More importantly what timing. The very next day the song air on the radio at another perfect timing. Since then... I have felt a connection and now, I realize why! The Lord's ever presence is always in a message from a song or in a person. God Bless you Laura and your husband.

  • In my opinion, these lyrics are from the heart of God and explain what God has taught me also through Romans 8:28-29, "For God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God and are called according to His purpose, for those He foreknew He also predestined to become conformed into the image of His son, that He would be the firstborn among many."

  • Really heartfelt & extremely well articulated. Probably the best song explanation I've heard.

  • This song is a HUGE inspiration to me because everyone goes through stuff an when we pray god doesn't always answer the way we want him to or immediately but he hears our prayers and he always has a solution to all our problems and struggles in life

  • Thank you so much for sharing that with everyone. I've had alot of hard times (I dont call them bad because without them I wouldnt be who I am so they arent bad) and the way I've always thought about it is that without those hard times, the times of true pain you would have no idea what true happiness is.

Without pain how would you really know what happiness is. So even thought the times when it seems hes left just know thats when he is holding you closest!

My Prayers to you and your husband

  • Thank you so much Laura for sharing this beautiful song with the world. My mum's going through a really difficult time with her health at the moment. I sent her a link to your song and she plays it often and finds it really helpful. Many blessings to you and your husband xx
