Everytime someone has pulled a gun on me they were close enough to pull a knife .The last thing I want is an exchange with someone I hope to never fire a gun at someone. If I have to I will but the safest bet is to do all you can to avoid such an exchange. Say you are in a store and they are robbing it you cowboy up and a cop is in the store you R dead bc that cop will mistake you for a robber they hate armed citizens until they are saved by one. I am not armed to stop crime just save lives.

that is better than some people can do with a mach grade rifle loaded with good ammunition (city folk) and that is amazing shooting for only a 1 5/8 barrel!

@dapenguin64 This gun comes with a really bad front sight - real tall & in the way - i cut mine down really short & can sight much much better.

There's one with a guy hitting plates at 100 feet, and another where a guy hits a piece of metal at 50 yards.

Bottom line is, if you're a good shot, the 1 and 5/8" version at least can do surprisingly well.

@dapenguin64 they never zoomed the camera out, so the guy coulda been standing right next to the target, or coulda been shooting a rifle, who knows

@dapenguin64 the front sight is just for looks; sight the gun right down the barrel to aim well.

Wow. Those would definitely would have ben shots in the kill zone. I wouldn't have thougt that the little revolver could be shot so well standing unbraced, off hand at that distance. That's about how well I shoot a Smith and Wesson J frame 38 at 7 yards. Impressive.

I think that that is absolutely incredible. I am definitely one of those people that would say this pistol isn't accurate past ten feet, but you have demonstrated sufficiently that it isn't so. I'll have to reanalyze the sights as you mentioned.

I have race cars as ya can see from other vidios. Took out cylinder, put gun in paded vice, mask off all 4 sides of signt.Then I got crude, 5 in. air grinder with 24 grit. grinding sideways not front to rear ( might dislodge sight ) I ground off almost all the sight - using a staight edge from the raised rear sight to the front I used a da sander locked to grind 240 grit & cut front sight down till straight edge was leval across top of gun. watch taurus= new sights video I show this gun

@choaterace Sweet I will check it out.. I love these little things surprising accurate. If you get a chance pick up the Cap&Ball & load it with bullseye you will get more power then the cartridge mini mag.
