  • hey man how much do you charge for a dyno run.... i live in ashburn and would like the get my car on it soon.

  • @MrAcv123 $100 for a one-hour session. Give us a call at the shop -- (571) 434-8333.

  • can some one please tell me what kind of rims those are thanks??

  • @210gunz Original equipment wheels for that car, custom-painted.

  • Mine was dynoed @ 408hp and 383tq to the wheels, yours is a bit low.

  • @2MANYCARS Thanks for the data. The car is a customer car. I just own the dyno.

  • @MachVDan the dyno is not cheap........

  • sounds like a hammer

  • such a macho sound for such a tiny car. i dont like

  • im a benz owner and a fan but im not inpressed with the power of this maby the wheels?

  • @lodownlv I'm not really sure what you are saying. Do you mean the wheels are sapping power? Those are stock wheels for this car.

  • @lodownlv :

The SLK55 comes from the factory without a supercharger unlike other 55 models. it is rated at 350hp, which should dyno at around 300-305hp to 'the wheels.' that meansadding the blower added another 71hp. not bad for a starting point. they may decide to push further, but who knows.

  • Wow that's very low, considering that the stock Mercedes 55k engine pushes out over 500HP

  • This is not a factory-supercharged car. The original engine made 355 horsepower (at the crank). I'd expect something like 302 hp to the wheels, naturally aspirated.

This made a good deal more than that, but (as I mentioned below in another comment) still not as much as I might expect given the aftermarket supercharger.

  • have you more Pics about this Car? This wheels look great on it!

  • I'm sorry, I don't have more pictures. I think they're just the stock wheels with a red stripe painted on. But yes, I agree they look nice.

  • Hey Chris, no offense taken. (We didn't build the car, we just dyno'ed it.)

I agree, you'd expect a little more power from a supercharged version of this car. The builders are looking into it. Perhaps we'll have another video with a follow-up to this...

  • The SLK55 AMG has 355 HP & 376 TQ at the crank, which going by a conservative 15% loss is about 302 RWHP & 320 RWTQ. The numbers are good dont get me wrong but, I thought they would be higher than that with a supercharger. Is it set on low boost for safety? If you could let me know that would be great. The car looks and sounds great. My father has a CLS63 AMG so I do like Mercedes. I don't wan't you to think I'm bashing you guys here... I'm just curious to know, that's all. Thanks

  • Holy shit!! WOW!
