This is one of my favorite YouTube videos. You guys are fantastic. I've been trying to master that opening riff for 35 years, and you nailed it - and on a 12-string! Your voices are incredible, and the professional sound in this impromptu performance is amazing. The bass is crucial in this song, and, again, you nailed it. Bravo. Actually, Steve's black 12 string is a Fender, & Leigh's sunburst 12 string is an Ovation. Leah's bass is a Schecter. We went for 12 strings just to have as much texture as possible without the other 4 band members & still maintain some groove. Some say two 12's are a bit much & that it's loud, but we didn't want to sound like the Doobies here. We wanted higher energy. This actually was a "PRACTICE" video (why Steve said it) & was never meant for posting, but ya just never know! LOL :-p
