Pitt's voice was probably just dubbed for this clip, this isn't the actual movie, so it's being watched by a local French speaking audience.....one would hope.

Dubbing movies is really retarded. It takes away a huge part of the characters and the actors interpetation of the role which he or she is obviously suited to do good.

@Varimedes yeah, what the hell? i don't understand how dubbing would even work in this film since most of the characters speak multiple languages. does that mean when hans landa asks the farmer to switch from french to english they are still speaking in french? or when they are pretending to be an italian film crew, kruger introduces them by saying they don't speak a word of german (in french) and hans starts to speak in italian (while still speaking in french)? -retarded!

@Varimedes also, does that mean they had a voice actor do the lines for landa when he speaks in german or english? and when he switches to french do they use the same voice actor (so it doesn't sound strange when all of a sudden a different person speaking)? or do they leave his french lines in tact? the whole thing sounds like a mess!

@pumpkinman30 i'm from Italy and IB has been dubbed in my country. Still it didn't sound weird since there are just 2-3 lines in italian (the scene with Landa being introduced to the three 'bastards', soooo funny to hear Brad Pitt's american accent in "BUONGIORNO".. LOL), and all the parts in fench and german haven't been dubbed, in order to maintain the feeling of "foreign-ess" that Tarantino wanted to produce.. just the english parts were dubbed. but the non-dubbed version is definitely better

It's not so common to dub movies in germany or in other countries, while in Italy EVERY movie gets dubbed - that's the reason because us italians are SIMPLY unable with all the languages stuff, lol
