Seeing as how Sasha Cohen is no longer training with Rafael Arutunian, I hope Caroline gives him a call. Her technique on her jumps is horrible BUT her jumps are solid, which is so weird. As bad as her technique is she lands her jumps the majority of the time. She just needs to have them corrected and gain more speed in her skating overall and RA can do that for her. I don't know if she'll make the Olympics this year, but if she can get Arutunian, in the years to come she'll be unstoppable...

Sasha went back to training with her long-time coach, John Nicks. I don't think it was smart for her to leave Arutunian, but on the other hand that does free him up for other skaters and I really hope Caroline gives him a call. He's a technical specialist and Caroline is in desperate need of a coach who can fix her technique. She's in danger of falling completely out of the competitive circle if she continues to skate like this...

Much better program than last year. Great music and choreography for her. It works. I just hopes as the season progresses and she gets stronger she can set this program off with more speed. Some solid flow over the ice and more sharpness in her movements is all this program needs. Well done for her.

No, there were a fair number of flaws. Her entry into the lutz is awful. The high vaulting leg is not favored by the judges. Also, her footwork is slow. And her entrance and execution of the 2 axel is labored with little distance or outflow.

But her expressin is very good, her extension very good, and the pearl spin into a biellman is magnificent!

Hmm. I merely stated on over overall composite of her performance. I don't care much for her 'flaws'. Other skaters have flaws that makes it more noticeable. I just like Caroline's overall exhibition and her execution of some of her moves.

The entry into the lutz?? She didnt do a lutz in her short. She did a triple flip double toe. I agree with you totally though. Her footwork is so slow and I cannot believe she can do a 2A with the speed she has. I dont think she will make the Olympics this year.
