Does this school have a good film classes because I'm already taking all these classes in my high school its called design and visual communications where you do film, photography, and graphic design and etc.. They sent me a brochure from this school today in the mail but I never signed up for it or heard of it. But it seems pretty good.

@DAYZ15ify yes i visited the college and it has a variety of things to offer students in communications. they put a camera in the hands of every freshman so they can at least start right away!

I'm really thinking about going to this school. It seems really good, in all aspects.

I'm majoring in dentistry/ dental hygiene/etc and they have a pre-dentistry program. Definitely applying when the time comes.

UT is a great choice for an undergraduate degree! I attended the nursing program and graduated with a BSN degree. If you want to be a nurse and pass the NCLEX on the first attempt, go to UT!! As soon as I graduated, I got a job in CRITICAL CARE!! Almost unheard of right out of college, but the UT nursing program made this possible. Trust me, when you graduate from this nursing program, you are prepared for the real world!! Thanks UT!

Don't mean to seem rude, or anything of the life, but I have NOT heard good things about this school. This is coming from an out-of-state student, too. I heard it's typically full of rich kids, who parents are paying an arm and leg for their spoiled kids to attend. I heard almost everyone is fake, the teachers are horrible, and tampa is NOT a good city. I have a friend who attends. People, do NOT be fooled by the beautiful campus. That's it's only postive. From overviews, I wouldn't recomend.

My time at UT was some of the best of my life. Tampa is a a great town and UT is one of the reasons for this. The financial aid made it cheaper for me to go here than to USF. After graduating form UT, I went on to get 2 masters degrees and I am now finishing up a Ph.D. in clinical psychology. UT gave me great academic preparation for everything else I have done since then.

I graduated from the Univ. of Tampa with my MBA. My favorite parts are the small class sizes, great professors and beautiful campus. The campus is about 30 minutes from Tropicana Field where the Tampa Bay Rays play in St. Petersburg, FL, 30 minutes from Clearwater Beach, and 45 minutes from Fort DeSoto. It's definitely not an easy program, but definitely worth the money for the individualized attention.

There is a lot of nickel-and-diming going on at this school. If you really want to get accepted then try to have your parents pay in cash. The fitness center is way too small. The library and labs do not open until noon on the weekends. The MBA program just got restructured, and they are making more money on it. This school was almost bankrupt 20 years ago. There are around 300 students living in the Ho-Jo because there is not enough on-campus housing. Instead, there is a freaking Chapel.

@aurylove93 Apply! 90% of students get financial aid. You think it's expensive but it's actually one of the cheapest private universities in Florida.

hahaha. sweet video tampa! if only they showed what the campus was really like. ie. mckay hall...smiley. funny i didnt see that in the video. and professors who actually speak english, wish i had a couple of those at UT.
