S15's are great foundational drift cars that can be used to learn, and tuned to be champions, but so can Hachi Rokus, R34, 33, and in some cases 35 Skylines, Supras, S2000s, and just about any other RWD, or RWD converted cars. the names of the car 180sx 200sx 240sx stands for different regions:

180sx japan asia ...

200sx for europe

240sx for usa

silvia stands for the model of the car

s13 s14 s15

engine:

200sx s13 ca18det turbo powered

usa 240sx sr20det turbo powered

rest up use the same engines or uses engine swap wich mostly be the most powerfull one rb26det from the skyline

200sx is a completely different car. In Australia, it is only called a s15 200sx if it is manufactured in Australia and is Autech Spec. If your s15 has the silvia badge at the back, it means its been imported from Japan. I know, my mate has a s15 and i got a 180sx and we live in australia

S15 is an S15, regardless of whether it has a 200SX or Silvia badge on the back. All were made in Japan and imported here.

The main difference between the ADM and JDM S15 is that the JDM has a less restrictive exhaust and better fuel map loaded onto the ECU. It may have a rear wiper fitted as well.

Also, the Autech version is an Automatic non-turbo that was tuned by Autech in Japan - explicitly for their market, although we recieved some here too.

a 200sx is an s14 in the uk it means 2ltr but in other countries it could be any other silvia with a 2ltr engine.

180sx = 1.8ltr - s13 & sileighty only. (i think)

200sx = 2ltr - s13, s14 & s15

240sx = 2.4ltr - s13, s14, s15 sileighty

im not sure about engine codes tho.

They have the same chasis, but in the US they are 240sx, here in japan, they are Silvias. In the US, u have to buy a silvia conversion kit for the front end of a "240sx" and in the states, they go by year (Ex: 1991 240sx). Here in japan, there is the 180sx, Silvia S13, Silvia S14, and Silvia S15. Each one of these is called a 240sx in the US.
