@LynxPointMama I was using Panasonic Lumix FZ28 with cheap close-up filter 8x. Camera was only few centimeters from spider

I have a cross spider and they are such amazing predators. All they do is go to the prey in the web, spin it around once and the insect is totally wrapped up. Then from there they can just bite and envenomate wherever they find tastiest and the living insect can't do jack to defend itself. lol It's awesome!

LOVE the camera work on this one and wicked I.D. on the spider! Usually people can get that it's an orb weaver but they can't quite figure out which orb weaver it is. Excellent.
