cripes, another so called internet 'expert' that knows very little what she is talking about. Granted this video is 3 years old though so you can't blame her for just becoming aware of something thinking its something new. Good try though.
I really liked your channel and this video. If you need any help getting this video exposed I use a site called tubeviews.(net) It has really helped like 20 of my main videos get to the top in position. Its nice.
Awesome video! You truly are a leader. The content you provide, are the same great techniques that have caused me to achieve massive success, all through free marketing. Keep up the good work, and look forward to future videos...
I think there are a TON of good critiques of the internet, and of the hype around web 2.0. I think neil postman and sherry turkle write about those critiques well, but to say that amateur content is some kind of serious drawback, just creates a strawman opponent.
What the fuck is wrong with amateur content... tell him to goto newgrounds or some shit and tell me there isnt good shit on there, i wanna firebomb this guys house (JOKE FBI, JOKE)
Thanks daytime12, The only tip or suggestion I can give is to be aware of how delicate the state of our internet is today. Scare tactics have been and will be used to motivate or simply scare the general public into privatizing the internet. If we know that scare tactics will be used then the tactics won't seem so scary anymore. Knowledge is power.
Part 3. I am very suspicious of anyone or party who says they "want to help" (people). Here's a question for all of you. Is this new "WEB 2.0" just a fancy name for a internet that is NOT government funded like it is now? Or is it a PRIVATELY run internet where our emails can be read or censored by outside parties?
Did you know that AT&T, Verizon, & Comcast want to privatise (totally control) the internet?
Good Job! KurbyDurby...Glad we have people like you around. Can you offer some tips on how regular folks can stay informed & keep internet a place for free speech. thanks
Part 2. Watch the Colbert Report reruns on August 17 and listen to his fruitless points!! "The internet is bad for our culture????" But in this video clip he tries to sell us using ANOTHER internet? Something is very, very scary about this situation. Please watch!
Part 1. Be very, VERY careful of anyone or party who is trying to sell the general public on a NEW internet!!!
Take a piece of paper and WRITE DOWN each of his points of interests, look at them and ask yourself; "Why should he care?" , "How does this "new internet IMPROVE the content?". In other words his selling points don't add up.

I disagree, I think it is to build Web pages using some new html tags that describe the meaning content of the pages.
By contrast the older version was focused on the format of the content.
What they describe is not Web 2.0 but it is a new way to interact with Web applications.

praise to web 2.0. Being a professional anything is over rated. A collective(amature) concious is the way of the future.
