I hate to be that guy but i am a current jumpmaster and your jumpmaster failed to do his last air safety check after he seen his 30 sec land mark or even if he got it from the load master. he did do his clear to the rear but he failed to look forward of the aircraft. LOL dont you hate guys like me.
The guy looking out is called a Jumpmaster and he is the one that should know everything about the jumpers. They're usually legit dudes and good guys to have on your side.
I miss jumping! Greatest feeling ever! Love jumping tailgate much more than the door though.

@wwefan774977 The yellow cables are actually called static lines and they are what deploy the jumpers' parachutes.

@caveman8111 That was a pretty weak peek too. I was taught to "lock-out" and get completely out of the door to do the clear to the rear.

Couple of questions: What's the title of the airman or soldier who looking out of the hatch before he orders the paratrooper forward?
What's the total number of paratroopers one C17 can carry?

We can do a total of 102 with 51 per side.

Thank you. And thank you for your service.

they don't have to...paratrooper jumps have their shoots open upon jumping...thats what that tether is for...it opens the chute as they jump

Only 6 Jumpers?
A squad or platoon would have been better.
