  • Would you be willing to let me know what the cost of this tree was? I mean in a private message. I have been using a Light-o-Rama controller which can't match your system but cost somewhat less than yours I believe. I intend to add 1 Light-O-Rama controller a year unless I can find a good price on an alternate system. And by the way, that tree of yours is so inspirational I may move and become a member of your church...Truly Beautiful!!!!

  • @Farpo123 We spend about $45,000 on the setup. The tree itself is a riser that the choir stands in, so it must be safe and cost about $15,000 by itself. The MidiLite system is 10X3X6 (180 dimmers) and requires a 240V/200A service.

I think it might be a bit more expensive that a Light-O-Rama system.

    Thanks for the comments!

  • I'm wondering, is there any xylophone or glockenspiel in this song ?

  • Is the music live or pre-recorded?

  • i have a celebration specialties tree. i understand and really feel for the time to program that. great work! wonderful interprtation!

  • Beautiful tree. How many lights?

  • Thank you for the comment! We think it is beautiful as well.

There is about 60,000 mini lights that are visible with a total of about 68,000 under load. We could not cram all the lights to the front of the panels.

The tree is 23 ft tall, not including the star, with 10 rows of 6 panels. We have the panels wired in pairs because our MidiLite controller is set for 3x10 vertical matrix.

    Mark.

  • Great technology! Enjoyed the concert.

  • i was there
