It has the same "gearing" as it does on the track. In other words, the spedo reads the true speed. You would think that it would be impossible to wheelie with all the weight in the front, but the tire really hooks up. When you hammer this thing, it is breathtaking, literally!
by gearing i mean a changing the gears in the chaincase. if you put a bigger gear on the jackshaft (secondary clutch to chaincase) and a smaller gear on the driveshaft (drives the track itself) the track drive shaft will go faster and still read true MPH. you would just be turning a lower engine RPM. since the sled doesnt have to push againt the snow and turn a track you can go faster and get better mileage.
sounds good. Still cant believe a 2-stroke can be street legal with emissions and sound. I bet it turns a lot of heads though. Nice work!!!
