And despite Phil being proud of his Irish roots, he was actually born in England to a Brazilian father. Thin Lizzy had no nationality, they were just rock Gods.

This song is the first Thin Lizzy song to really blow my mind. I remember hearing this for the first time from a vinyl I had borrowed from my dad's friend...this title song is still one of the greatest hard rock/heavy metal songs of all time, a hard-hitting iron-clad kung fu punch in my face!!!

@dazzyboy74 Well for those in the know he is known as one of the greatest. Yea I like Bonham and Moon but BD always delivered the goods in the studio AND live. I saw them 3 times in the 70s and each time they were great. My favorite BD work is on Emerald but its all good.

I forgot about this song. A friend had the LP on cassette and we used to put it in the car stereo and rock out with it. Because the classic rock radio stations are so obsessed with playing the same 12 songs over and over everyday, we don't get to hear good songs like this one that have been collecting dust. I saw them a couple times here in SoCal before this tour but I had front row center orchestra pit for the last show in the states ever.........the next night (12-20-80) at the Santa Monica Civic. My friend and I spent the night outside the arena and we were first in line when the box office opened the next morning. One of the greatest nights of my young life.
